About this listen

A mighty empire…a lowly slave…a galaxy to save. Will a hero rise?

Nova chronicles the early years of the Aurora Galaxy after the great war between two immortal races known as the Malakians and the Torians. The despot, Zari Treville, is leading the Torians on a campaign to rule the galaxy, but Supreme Chancellor Ell Yon, leader of the Malakians, stands in his way. Both races wield technology far beyond anything the human race has ever seen.

Young Daeson Starlore is born of royal blood on the planet of Jypton where the Rayleans (the Drudge class) serve the ruling classes of Jyptonians (the Colloquial and the Elite classes). As a young man, Daeson is living his dream piloting his Starcraft at the academy and is on track to graduate at the top of his class.

A chance encounter with a lowly Starcraft mechanic changes everything and the life and world Daeson once thought he knew changes forever. Desperate for the truth, Daeson embarks on a galactic journey that will either kill him or thrust him into a life of terrifying adventure.

Time is short; will he survive, or will he rise?

This was a great beginning to a new series. I found myself not wanting to stop listening as I went through the plot twists and the emotional rollercoaster of Daeson and Raviel. Looking forward to starting the next one already.

Another awesome story from Chuck Black!

Another wonderful book by Chuck Black!!

I only wish other audiobooks were done in this format—having more than one narrator, music, sound effects, and the narrators actually acting their parts out. It makes for a more immersive experience. The fact that it’s Christian too puts the cherry on top. Again I say, well done all involved.

Well Done

great story. enjoyable production, surprising that there were more than one person doing voices and a few sound effects. occasionally the sounds were a bit off, a little loud or distracting, but overall very tasteful and enjoyable. listened together as a family- age 12 , teens and adults and all of us enjoyed and couldn't get enough. probably not appropriate for young kids? prelisten and decide based on your individual child. highly recommended space Bible allegory.

such a great story

Typical Chuck black! Astounding work excellent mythos, mistakable seemed with biblical truth. Fantastic! I cannot stop listening. My only regret is that I had to stop to start the next book.

Marvelous!
