About this listen

A talented painter in her early 30s, Samille Sweeney has achieved enviable success: her work sells at an exclusive New York City gallery and her popularity is at an all-time high. Sweeney, as she is called by those close to her, loves her work and is content with her life.

Then she begins to experience the dreams - lush, vivid dreams drenched in vibrant hues - which are influencing her artwork. But the true dangers of her visions are about to be revealed where Sweeney least expects it: in her paintings. After a creative frenzy she can barely recall, Sweeney discovers she has rendered a disturbing image of a graphic murder scene. When a real-life murder mirrors her creation, Sweeney is thrust into suspicious light. Now, with every stroke of her brush, she risks incriminating herself with her inexplicable knowledge of a deadly crime.

With the breathless excitement that distinguishes all of her blockbusters, Linda Howard grips the imagination and touches the heart as only she can in Now You See Her.

Waste of Money

I love Linda Howard and this book was just butchered. I was so upset by listening to it they cut out all the good parts of the book. Don't waste your money or a credit the way I did!

Abridged Edition - Ruined the book

Having read this book several times - I can accurately say that whoever did the edit for the abridged edition absolutely RUINED this book. It is disjointed and so many key elements to the book that make it really interesting - not to mention sizzle - are left out. I knew better than to buy an abridged, but I like the original story so much I wanted to give it a try. I strongly advise that you pass on this. It's a shame that they couldn't bother to put the UNABRIDGED version on here. Save you points/money on this and go buy the book - the WHOLE book - it's much better.

Too bad

This is my favorite Linda Howard book. I tried the abridged format since it's the only one Audible made available, but it was a big disappointment. The narrator was pretty bad - you really couldn't tell who was talking, and so many really good parts of the book were omitted. The unabridged version is so much better (especially the narrator), but it's not available on Audible.
