About this listen

In this thrilling conclusion to the Numbers Game Saga, it's been 10 weeks since Treena returned to NORA. The council has rejected her war preparations at every turn, and Dresden is backpedaling on his promises. When he tells everyone the danger has passed and denies there was ever a threat, Treena's secret followers push her to unseat Dresden and take control - something she can't bear to consider now with NORA on the brink of war. Meanwhile, infighting at Vance's settlement is turning into violent unrest and the drought has made his settlement's future bleak. Joining NORA seems inevitable, but Vance refuses to give in...not with war looming over their cities. Not when it means putting his younger sisters in danger. When Treena goes overseas to plead for help, Vance is torn between his responsibilities and his heart. Together, Treena and Vance must navigate the political undercurrents of a strange new country, convince an indifferent world of their plight, and somehow stay together despite a prince's determination to tear them apart.

This third and final book the numbers raging series was satisfying in that it wrapped things up just how I thought they should be. There were a few twists and turns along the way, but thankfully everyone got what they had coming.

Like the previous audiobooks, I felt the narrator didn't do the best job distinguishing voices, but this one was a bit easier to follow. The pacing and pronunciations were consistent and good.

Overall, having finished this series, I would recommend it to fans of the genre. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This was a great book, and it had good ending. Although it was rather abrupt.

Numbers Raging was as captivating as ever!

Numbers Raging is the third book in the compelling Numbers Game series by Rebecca Rode. This series is exciting, adventurous, and gripping - so much so that you'll be listening in bed well past your bedtime on a school night! As I mentioned in my reviews of the first two books in the story, the overall story arc is reminiscent of the classic The Handmaid's Tale with its "new world order" destined to fail because citizens are not given certain basic freedoms.

Numbers Raging begins only two months after Numbers Ignite ends, so you should definitely read them in order. Treena is a now a council woman in NORA. The rest of the council rejects Treena's warnings that war is imminent and Dresden sends Treena to a European summit to drum up support for NORA's struggles. Meanwhile a serious illness is befalling those that live outside the city's walls, just like it had a few hundred years before.

What I love most about the Numbers Game series is how Treena is a great role model for young women today. She displays great courage and a willingness to sacrifice herself to save the rest of "her" people. Her faith in the inherent goodness of people is truly inspiring (even if she is too naive at times).

Stacey Glemboski narrated this audiobook, as she did with the prior two books in the series. She did an outstanding job, providing distinct and consistent voices for all characters throughout the series. She maintained great intonation and pace, conveying urgency in all the right places. The Numbers Game series definitely fills the void left after the Divergent and Hunger Games series ended. Brava!

MUST READ SERIES! Fills the Void Left by Divergent

Well... OK... I didn't see that coming! I love it when a book surprises me.

Packed with action this book held me enthralled from cover to cover (OK, well the audio equivalent anyway). Very little of the things that happened went how I was expecting them to, but all of it was exciting.

While this is a fabulous ending to the series I can't help but want more. I'm thoroughly attached to the characters and their world at this point.

The narration was excellent again, I love the delivery, it helped me get totally immersed in what was happening. Great character voice, conveyance of emotions, and a consistent delivery.

I received this book free from the narrator/publisher/author in exchange for an honest review.

Numbers Raging by Rebecca Rode was a great read. This was a great conclusion to the Numbers Game series. Greens has been back at NORA and has faced rejection for her ear preparations the whole way. France's settlement has faced drought and they may have to join NORA. This was a great read, I can't wait to read more by Rebecca Rode.

Great conclusion to the series. I'm sorry to see it end. I enjoyed this book just as much as I did each book in the series including the novellas. Once again the story pulled me right in and held my complete attention from start to finish. It's just a creative entertaining, engaging and very enjoyable series with a great cast of characters. It had a great ending that didn't leave you hanging or have unresolved issues. I actually really like that it leaves it open for the possibility of more stories set in this world in the future. If the series does continue in any way it is one I would definitley be interested in.

Having just reads Richards story right before this one I did feel like the story was repeating in some areas. When Treena is reading Richards journal/diary.

It may be a fictional story but it holds some very thoughtful analysis of the world we live in. Chan has some very insightful and meaningful thoughts of the world and people in general in chapter 27. Their struggles and what they are fighting for makes you think of todays world.

Stacy Glemboski once again does a fantastic job with the narration. She was the perfect narrator for this series. Pleasant voice that is easy to listen to for long periods of time. Clearly spoken with a nice even pace. Really good character voices. She brought the story and characters to life through her narration. Very enjoyable.

Ms. Rode did a great job wrapping up the series. Having finished the entire series, including the extra vignettes, Ms. Rode did a great job answering any questions outstanding regarding the world she created. This series is so very well thought out.

I will say that of the books in the series, this is the one I felt was the slowest. There were a lot of politics and diplomacy and we all know that takes time. The characters and twists were ever present and that kept the story moving along and engaging.

The series is well worth the time to read everything Ms. Rode provides. One can only hope that she continues with the new settlement and that the amazing Ms. Glemboski continues the voices we have all lovingly come to expect.

I loved getting to listen to the conclusion of this series and yet I'm sad to leave all the characters behind. I loved bringing Chan and Maizel back into the main story. It was great hearing about what they had been doing and what their part in the fight for freedom was. Hearing about all the drama between Treena and Vance and all their excitement throughout the story was amazing. Between Rebecca's words and Stacey's voice I was on the edge of my seat and loving every minute of it. Yes there were some sad parts, but it was still a wonderful book that I couldn't get enough of. I'm a bit sad to leave the Numbers World behind, but I am happy to have found out everything.

Wonderful ending to a great series
