About this listen

They promised me everything. But when the tides turned and my true self surfaced, their promises washed away with the receding waves.

I forced them to realize their mistake and made them see the truth, even if it meant drowning in my own heartache. Now, they're sorry, begging for forgiveness. But I'm done with empty words and broken promises.

I would have been happy to leave and never look back, but a rip current keeps pulling me toward them, to face the hurt.

How can I trust them again after they rejected me so fiercely?

Ocean Echoes is a medium burn, spicy, why-choose paranormal romance. It is the second book of the Soulful Seas Duet and is not a standalone. For mature listeners.

These books were amazing with both story and narration. I enjoyed seeing a spin on the medium side of romance books. Lots of groveling while not pushing into the territory of to much. My only issue with this series is that I waited for two books to see the brothers realize there girlfriend was seeing there dead brothers ghost and it was done really sloppy. Like the book skipped that entire plotline which really was aggravating after building the suspense for so long. The twist with the dead brother was done well, didn't see that coming. The drama at the end of book two was like a full circle moment for the brothers. All in all it is a book I would recommend but don't expect a big reveal about the brothers ghost, ah it is still upsetting. This book loses one star for the that.

This second book closes perfectly this emotional and steamy duet.

Paranormal (ghost involved)
Disability rep

Content warnings:
Grief

It’s an emotional rollercoaster—raw, heartbreaking, and beautifully haunting.
I really really loved Sloan.
She is a fiercely independent yet deeply wounded heroine, navigating the scars of her past, the pull of her present, and the uncertainty of her future. (And also has a passion for Zelda. She’s my kind of girl)

Nash, Hunter, and North each try to prove their love to Sloan in their own way, while Saylor’s presence (both seen and unseen) adds a whole new layer of heartbreak.

The steam is chef’s kiss (🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 and then some!) the twists are unexpected, and the emotions hit hard.

If you love angst, paranormal romance, and why-choose with depth, this second book will wreck you in the best way.
