the mystery aspect is so so but Chet is so hilarious i binge on one book after the other. He’s happy trigger for Bernie to use the .38 special or do an upper cut on a perp 🤣 this series is a lot of fun & have so many LOL moments. He adores his partner so much and thinks he has “the most beautiful face” hahhaha. I love how he’s so loyal, always hungry & forgetful.

like most all of it. sometimes "chets" narratives carried on a little long. other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed it and am listening to more!

This series just gets better and better. I have read/listened to them all and now have to wait patiently for the next one. I listen to Frangioni read during the day and then at night I read in bed and his voice is still in my head. He really does give Chet the most wonderful loving voice. Pure perfection!
