Excellent!

Unexpectedly fantastic and captivating! My son and I listened to both books (Ever After and this one) and were glued to the story.

Captivating story

Twist and unexpected turns makes it hard to put this book down!!! It's different than most stories and you must pay attention because once you understand what is going on it begins to pop off the page.

The genius of Jodi Picoult continues . . .

Off the Page follows Between the Lines. The first book offers a delightful premise: An unhappy teenager in the real world and a discontent prince from a fairytale fall in love. Through a fantastical journey the prince escapes from his fairytale and joins a teenager in her world. Not only do they manage to cross between worlds – but they manage it in multiple ways – each unique. It feels like they are telling their readers – "there are many ways to join the characters and plots in the books you read – look for your own way in – think outside the box."

The second book is another Picoult miracle. In it we watch Oliver and Dehlilah’s developing romance as they deal with problems in both of their worlds.

The tale is woven together so seamlessly it is easy to accept the crossover between the two worlds. I suspect that most readers have indulged in similar fantasies themselves. In some ways – this is a natural extension for any devoted reader.

Growth and development of characters is one of J Picoult’s true strengths. If you have read any of her books – you know she is a genius. These books offer more proof. Much to my delight - it looks like her daughter will follow in her footsteps.

An absolute treasure

I loved this book and how it was different than other Jodi Picoult books, but still had her mastery of word and her brilliant storyline framework that always blows me away.

Another irresistible Picoult for all ages

Off the Page may be labeled Young Adult, but really, it defies genre. The story line is so unique and creative, as only Jodi Picoult can conjure.

The idea of what a book is…if no one reads it does the story exist? The idea of actually jumping into your favorite book...what would happen? And if some of the characters of that book changed places with you, how would they fare in the real world?

Such a fun read this was! And a lovely ending. How rare is that these days?
