Fifteen years after she left Prince Edward Island, Natalie O'Ryan had no plans to return. But when her fiancé, music producer Russell Jacobs, books their wedding in her hometown and schedules a summer at Rose's Red Door Inn, she sets out to put the finishing touches on the perfect wedding. But she can't possibly prepare for a run-in with Justin Kane - the best friend she left behind all those years ago after promising to stay.
Justin's never forgotten Natalie or the music career he always dreamed of pursuing. He'd been prepared to follow her off the island until his dad died and he was left to run the family dairy farm. He's done the best he can with the life that was thrust upon him - but with Natalie back in the picture, he begins to realize just how much joy he's been missing.
After Natalie's reception venue falls through, she must scramble to find an alternative, and the only option seems to be a barn on Justin's property. As they work together to get the dilapidated building ready for the party, Natalie and Justin discover the groundwork for forgiveness - and that there may be more than an old friendship between them.

I may have said that out loud a time or two. (Hubs says I talk to books.)
This was a nice conclusion to the series. I liked seeing people from the previous books, though they can be stand-alone books.
I really liked Justin. I liked how he challenged Natalie to show her true self to Russell I also liked how he helped her get through facing her past.
This was a very enjoyable listen, the narrator was good, bringing emotion and tension to the story in just the right way.

A Great Conclusion

I have to say, this was my least favourite one in the series ..
This story about Natalie who is from Prince Edward Island buteft it 15 years ago after the abuse of her parents, but now she returns to the island to jave her wedding (her Fiancee idea, who happens to be Adams brother from the previous book) but what she didn't want was to run into justin, her childhood best friend who she left behind all those years ago, now they are both grown up and their feelings are rekindeling once again
I usually don't mind these kind of plots where one of them is essentially cheating on the partner, but we didn't get much of PEI to see .. I really wanted to see it featured more, the writing style is not the best but it does well to describe the island and takes me there
