About this listen

We met on a Tuesday.
Became best friends, then lovers, on a Tuesday.
And everything fell apart on a Tuesday....

Charlotte Taylor has three automatic strikes in my book: 1) She hates me. She also claims that I'm a "domineering jerk with a huge, overbearing ego". (I do have something huge. It's not my ego, though.) 2) She takes our mandatory tutoring sessions way too seriously. 3) She's sexy as hell...and a virgin.

At least those were her strikes before our study sessions started lasting longer than they were supposed to. Until one innocent kiss became a hundred dirty ones, and until she became the first woman I ever fell hard for.

Our future together after graduation was supposed to be set:

Professional football for me. Law school for her.

But she left me at the end of the semester with no explanation, and then she completely disappeared from my life.

Until tonight.

We met on a Tuesday.
Became everything, then nothing, on a Tuesday.
And now it's seven years later, on a Tuesday....

This is a full-length second-chance romance, inspired by Adele's "When We Were Young".

Second chance romance with a twist

Not usually into the younger struggling to figure it out romance but this was a decent book. Had a little twist and a villan not bad.

What A Start to My Listening Pleasure!

Awesome performance by Erin Mallon, although I did have a bit of difficulty connecting to Joseph Discher. As this was my VERY fist audible book I've listened to from beginning to end - I have to say it has quickly become my favorite! As the story progressed my initial aversion to Mr. Discher changed and that connection was made. I highly recommend the listening to the audio version of this book - without having read the print version first (as I have). It just made it more enjoyable to me and have a better understanding of the characters. I definitely contribute that to Ms. Mallon & Mr. Discher's performances.
Great work!

Heartbreak and redemption

I have read this story so many times and now I have listened to it. Erin Mallon and Joseph Discher have brought the characters to life and have totally fulfilled how these characters sounded in my head from reading. There is heartbreak in the story but the characters do get their HEA.

Great Narrators & Great story

Audiobook received from the author / publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Tuesday is very significant to Grayson Connors and Charlotte Taylor. They met, became friends and turned into lovers on that day. Charlotte was assigned to tutor Grayson on Literature and he happens to be a popular football player in campus. Both of them needed credits for Graduation, their chemistry ignited while they bonded over on the tutoring sessions and Grayson is sure he found the love of his life. Until one Tuesday, their relationship fell apart when Charlotte left without an explanation.

Their lives took a different direction and move forward with their careers. Seven years later, Grayson Connors became a professional football player but he didn’t stop looking for Charlotte. Their paths crossed again on a Tuesday and this time, he’ll never let her go until seeks for an answer.

GOD BLESS AUDIOBOOKS FOR ITS EXISTENCE. It’s the best way getting rid of my reading slump. On a Tuesday marks my first Whitney G. novel and I’m instantly drawn to it. It’s a great heartwarming second chance romance told in dual point of views in past and present time. I’m captivated with the story and I was eager to know what really went down between Charlotte and Grayson. After the revelation, I feel bad for both protagonists and no is at fault in that situation. Glad they rehashed things and make up for their lost time.

It has been forever since I’ve listened to Erin Mallon’s narration. She’s amazing voicing out both female and male characters. A good narration by Joseph Discher but there are times he’s monotonous. In spite of a short book, it didn’t feel rushed. A part of me wants it longer because I want more Grayson and Charlotte.

NA College romance then and now . . .

On a Tuesday has most certainly won itself a fan. It was sweet, fun, beautiful, charming, real, and hits of sorrow, pain, sadness. It may not have held the intensity of constant sex, but it certainly held romance and charm. Charlotte Taylor was the all American sexy, sweetheart. She was the friend you wanted and the woman you wanted to get to know. Grayson was the all American star football player, with looks, charm, and smarts. He was not your typical ball player. He was intelligent, respectful, resourceful, and knew his own heart. I very much loved getting to see their story then and now. As for the bad guy, there was not enough payback there to make up for all the damage. Oh and it was clear upon meeting things would not be right.

Charlotte and Grayson got there first and second chance in one story of then and now. Then he was the rave of campus. Then he was under false accusations. Then he was the star football player. Then he was the guy. Then she was the one that he wanted over any other. Then she was just the girl tease. Then she was the one person the could stop it all from being. Seven years later. She was still the one. She was the one that could change it all. He was the one that could make her open up. What they needed was time.

Narrator duo combo was fantastic. I loved Erin and Joseph. The duo did a job that allowed you to fall in love with then and now. The transitions were flawless. The audio quality was there clear and clean of skips or hiccups. I loved the emotional quality of both Erin and Joseph's take on the characters. Their voice pitching, diction, and cadence felt perfect for the characters they were portraying.
