So very insightful and comprehensive

I just love this book ing audio format. I have been waiting for the audio book version for several years.
And I was impressed most by the integral nature of the varied and unified contents and contributors
I loved Deepak Chopra's intro Foreward and Michael Singer's Afterward. They unified the entire diverse content.
I hope to see more of these from the author with such a variety of contributors.
Very good science and psychology and cosmology.
Bravo!

Masterfully Done!

I recently purchased and listened to this audiobook and I feel compelled to say that this is an audiobook worth getting, taking the time to listen to, and letting others know about.

Not only is the subject matter well written, stimulating, challenging, and thought provoking (at a minimum), but I found the narrator's (Sara Sheckells) treatment and delivery of it to be masterful. In my opinion, not only does she capture the essence of the messages of multiple authors, but narrates them with the nuance and emotion they intended. I found that as I listened to the book, I forgot that I was listening to a narrator and felt I was getting the meaning and substance of it direct from the sources.

as a Christian looking to understand buddahism

my daughter is delving into this new age world view so I decided to refresh my memory on what it is using this book that she is reading.

where to begin.

i found some things I did not know about buddahism.

they believe in evolution in the sense of cosmic chance of our existence. we'll some of the writers do anyways. others discuss that this world is just simply not real, and others that it is created by God so in short this book is filled with contradictory beliefs.

if there was a word count done in this book I would have to think that "self " would be the most used word

self is great
self is perfect
self is God

I can't help but thinking if a pedophile or serial killer read this book - they would walk away encouraged and "enlightened" of their self

This book is a collection of decent writers thoughts on how to find bliss without consequences.

this book discusses the many ways to find bliss but each way is riddled with doubts with words like "unknowing" the "unfindable" the "unimaginable" and
"mystery"

the two questions that are never raised are:

what happens to people who do not believe in this , like myself. from the text I gather nothing, I will just continue living as a spirit moving towards nirvana without a compass. confusing but not worrisome

the other question is - what if this is not right?

after reading this book I am more encouraged than ever that actions have consequences, there is right and there is wrong, and finally that there are not many ways but there is only one way and Jesus tells us that he is the way, the truth, and the life.

if you are looking to understand why I say that I challenge you to read any book by Tony Evans or check out Mike Winger or Robert madhu on youtube

lastly if you are looking for a book filled with long astrology readings of how great and perfect everything will be without any backbone of truth or consequence of being wrong - this is the book for you
