About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

Nobody remembers how the Causality War started. Really, there's no-one to remember and nothing for them to remember if there were; that's sort of the point. We were time warriors and we broke time.

I was the one who ended it. Ended the fighting, tidied up the damage as much as I could.

Then I came here, to the end of it all, and gave myself a mission: to never let it happen again.

I imagine it would end up something like this. Very inventive, supremely funny, and incredibly written. Well worth the time.

If Calvin and Hobbes had a time machine...

This book was a great, fun romp through time and space. You don't want to miss it!

Great Fun

Wonderful short story of a time-warrior at the end of all things. Dripping with sardonic narration by the author, this is a quick but entirely enjoyable tale that I didn't want to stop once started. Perfect for a rainy afternoon or a quiet evening.

Unique, funny and engaging!

Sadly appropriate for our disintegrating world / food for thought and surprising in its twists and turns - Adrian Tchaikovsky is a polymath

Philosophically and ironically brilliant

another brilliant work from Tchaikovsky that deals with the paradoxes of time, travel in a thoughtful and entertaining way. A novel that studies the consequences of our actions and the morality of human struggle with a decent dash of humor to make the entire experience thoroughly enjoyable. highly recommend

If you've enjoyed anything else by Tchaikovsky, or if you enjoy sci-fi, or time travel, or the peculiar snark of a romantic disguised as a curmudgeon, read it.

Excellent. Read it.

I love most of Tchaikovsky's other work and this was no exception. It's a short listen but original and fun.

A fun and quick read

The most versatile imagination ever. Time travel as never been written before, unless it has and someone has gone back and erased it of course and we have just gotten to read it again in this version of the universe but we don’t know that we have read it before again and maybe again but from a different author 😂🤣

I’d read it again but maybe I already have

The comedic irrelevance is a lot of fun. Still a book of ideas, but a most amusing presentation. Of all Adrian’s books I want adapted into a screenplay, is is foremost among them.

Sassy time travel.
