About this listen

Welcome to Aspen Cove, the tiny Colorado town where fresh starts, hope, and true love live….

Nurse Sage Nichols’ life is falling apart. Her favorite patient has just died. She’s lost her job. And she’s been evicted. When she finds out she inherited a bed and breakfast in a remote town in the Rockies, she’s determined to sell it and return to Denver.

But when word gets out that a nurse is in town, Sage gets roped into helping Aspen Cove’s only doctor. Unfortunately, the warm welcome she receives from the town’s people does not extend to the man next door. Instead, he seems set on making her life miserable.

When Cannon Bishop’s mother died, he gave up his dreams of leaving Aspen Cove and stayed to run the family business. As owner of the only bar and son to the town drunk, he’s got no room in his life for a woman. But when Sage Nichols breezes into to his life, she changes everything. And if there’s one thing Cannon hates, it’s change.

She’s a woman who wants to leave. He’s a man who has to stay. There are a hundred reasons keeping them apart. Can they find one to keep them together?

A very enjoyable story with engaging characters. This small town is ideal. People help each other in many ways, from bartering for needs and help to all out donating what is needed out right.

After a rough beginning Cannon & Sage make a great couple. Sage's personality didn't jive with what was being portrayed all the time which led to some confusion and annoyance but evened out in the end.

Logan McAllister did a fabulous job portraying the the characters and narrating. I really hope the rest of the series will soon be available in Audible, preferably with Logan again as the voice of Aspen Cove.

I was given an Audible copy of this story, at my request, in exchange for a honest review.

I want every book in this series

I like these sweet romance stories set in a cute little town, where everybody knows your name. An easy listening story line where you get involved in the character's life. I liked the narrator's voice as well. I'm looking forward to the other audio books in this series, so I can get to know everyone in town. I received this audio book free for an honest review.

Fabulous Story & Audible Listen! 4.5 Sweet Lovely

I loved this story, it is well written and grabbed my attention right from the start to the very end. The storylines and characters are interesting and well developed. It was easy to relate the characters, they were realistic and their stories were moving. I liked the two leads, Cannon and Sage, and he chemistry between them. Also like the small town setting, the vibe and sense of community. While we may not have gotten to know Bea, while she was alive it is nice to get to know who she was and what she had planned. Maybe one day we will get her whole story as well.

I listened to the Audible edition, Logan McAllister a wonderful narrator & storyteller. He performs all the voices and brings the characters to life from the pages to your ears. Thank you for the great listen.

Great listen!

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. I’m not usually a fan of books in third person, but that didn’t bother me with this story. It kept me entertained and rooting for the H/h. I look forward to the next book in the series!

Great audio!

This is the first book I've had the pleasure of listening to by Kelly Collins. I really enjoyed the narration and thought that Logan McAllister did a great job. I usually like to hear both men and women in the reading, but this was done well.

Aspen Cove is a magical place. OK, not really, but small town romance like this just gives you all of the feels. Cannon has had so much loss in his life that he can't bear the thought of losing another person, so he keeps himself locked away. Focusing only on getting through the day. When Sage comes into town with her big heart and help everybody attitude he can't help but be in awe of this spitfire. I loved these two and how they quickly went from enemies to friends to so much more.

This is a great small town romance with so much heart. I can't wait to continue on my journey in Aspen Cove and see what other couples fall in love here.

Will Sage want to stay in Aspen Cove?

One Hundred Reasons is the first book in the Aspen Cove Romance series. At the passing of her favorite patient, Sage has been gifted the deed to a B&B in Aspen Cove, but her arrival has left her feeling less than welcome. Cannon has his own issues to deal with, but he’s drawn to Sage, her optimistic outlook on life, and the way she brings change to those around her. But will Sage want to stay in Aspen Cove and with Cannon?

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love this book and fell in love with not only the characters, but the small town, too! Sage and Cannon made an amazing team, were a realistic couple, and I loved their connection. Sage is cautious but optimistic, curious and loving, and full of really good advice. I love that she cares, so much! Cannon almost seems jaded in comparison to Sage, but I loved that she slowly opened his heart up to hope, joy, and love. I love how they slowly came together, how they got to know each other, and how well they fit in with each other’s lives. Mr. McAllister did an amazing job bringing the characters to life and providing the emotions you read in the book. He made me feel like I was talking to the characters in person and I just love that feeling! This was a fabulous book, an amazing start to a series, and it was all about finding love, experiencing life, and helping others when you find that chance!

A wonderful touching story

I am so glad I gave this author a try. I loved this audiobook!
Sage Nichols, a geriatric nurse in Denver, is at a breaking point in her career. She gives her patient her all, but their deaths is taking a toll on her. When one of her dear patients dies, and she breaks down she is told to take a leave .
Little did she know , that when BEA, the sweet lady that had passed away, and left her a property in Aspen Cove, her life would change forever.
Cannon Bishop has had a lot to deal with since his mother’s passing, and left his Dad a shell of himself and an alcoholic. Little did his know that tiny new feisty neighbor would change his life and that of his father’s forever.
It’s a touching story about family, new beginnings, second chances in life, hope and love when you least expect it.
I was entrusted a copy of this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

...awakens the butterflies of the heart ...

One Hundred Reasons draws inspiration from the heartaches of life. Collins proves there is a bright side to life's painful moments. Sage and Cannon have seen their share of tragedy. For Sage it comes with the territory. As a nurse, she gets to see how precious and unfair life can be. Cannon is still reeling from his brush with heartbreak. There is no recovering from the blow dealt his way. Until a stranger comes to Aspen Cove and touches the pieces of himself, he thought forever broken. One Hundred Reasons awakens the butterflies of the heart to the hope in your soul.
