Amid the leftovers of civilization, ex-Army Ranger Jason Larsen is reminded of the meaning of hope, family, and loyalty by a dog and a young boy who are as alone as he is. Inconsistent but great nonetheless
I really like this series. Sadly it seems the author is not producing more audio books. Otherwise I would look into even more from him. There are times in this story where it almost seems to be two or three different authors. It just feels different in places. There are things brought up that then don’t seem to really have an emotional conclusion. Characterization that is off.. Lots of dangling bits here and there. That being said, I have liked this whole series, it is very very recommended, and off to the fourth and last book in the series.

Action, for action sake
The Sleeping Legion is a full speed ahead battle. From the first book in the series to the last there is no let up in the action. Players come and go, targets change - get added and then subtracted after bloody conflict.

If you like action, with good storytelling then you found it
I don’t want to ruin anything. I’ll only say that I have a new Hero. His name is Sippio! I highly recommend the sleeping legion series. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
There are a few moments of interruption that leave you feeling like something was missed. Speed of the recording fluctuates once or twice. Minor over all.

Too chaotic
The writer relys too much on action it seems he never fully develops the plot. He just jumps into what he want to say. Half the time you don't really know what he is talking about ot who. I hope he does better in the next book.
