One would def need to listen to it repeatedly and make notes to practice on the daily. But rather than using the contemporary method of “big psychology words” this book uses everyday examples to drive the points across. I felt like a really caring grandfather is giving me advice rather than a Dr. Telling me what to do.
Short and simple

Would you listen to Overcoming Anger and Irritability again? Why?
This book is not loaded with techniques to deal with your anger like deep breathing, it's more about noticing your anger and using your rational brain, instead of your primitive brain. By noticing your anger and shift in temperament by noting it in a journal, you get an idea of what sets you off. Just by noticing it and logging these things really helps. The book has much more details and examples and I have listened to it over and over again. What about William Davies’s performance did you like?
The speaker has a great voice and accent that helped put me at ease. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, the story about a person in prison for an act they committed while angry.Simple and effective
