About this listen

Who cut off Medusa's head? Who was raised by a she-bear? Who tamed Pegasus? And whatever happened to that Golden Fleece?

It takes a demigod to know the answers, and Percy Jackson can fill you in on all the daring deeds of Perseus, Atalanta, Bellerophon, and the rest of the major Greek heroes. Told in the funny, irreverent style listeners have come to expect from Percy ("I've had some bad experiences in my time, but the heroes I'm going to tell you about were the original old-school hard-luck cases. They boldly screwed up where no one had screwed up before...."), this story collection will become the new must-have classic for Rick Riordan's legions of devoted fans - and for anyone who needs a hero.

Featured Article: Percy Jackson—A Percy Jackson and the Olympians Character Guide

Percy Jackson is the eponymous hero of the best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan. He made his debut in The Lightning Thief at just 12 years old, where he discovered the shocking truth about his parentage: He is a demigod, the son of a mortal woman and the god Poseidon. Beyond his own series, he was one of the protagonists in the Heroes of Olympus series and has since appeared in other spin-off novels and series from Riordan.

Amazing rendition of Greek Stories!

Jesse Bernstein’s talent + Rick Riordan’s hilarious and engaging character Percy Jackson make another amusing book on Greek myths.

I did my reviews like that because it’s a good book but there is some bad stuff.

Love this book Percy Jackson is funny when he reads but there are some bad parts that I just skip. There should also be a chapter about the best Greek hero of all time I forget his name but there should be a chapter about him.

The Story of the Odyssey was not in it.

It was a great book other than the fact that the Story of the Odyssey. That is where Odysseus and his crew landed on the island with the cyclops. Since that was the premise of the sea of monsters, Percy Jackson.

I LOVE IT

This book is the BOMB. It shows greek mythology like never before and is hilarious and funny. If you have read the original percy jackson novels, which i have, it is even more enjoyable, with fun references and easter eggs from the books. It is also very easy to listen to and gets you knowing myths like never before. 11/10 would recommend to anyone
