There are worse things than death, worse people too. The "talk" was bad enough, but how many teens get told that they're a goddess? When her mom tells her, Persephone is sure her mother has lost her mind. It isn't until Boreas, the god of winter, tries to abduct her that she realizes her mother was telling the truth. Hades rescues her, and in order to safely bring Persephone to the Underworld he marks her as his bride. But Boreas will stop at nothing to get Persephone. Despite her growing feelings for Hades, Persephone wants to return to the living realm. Persephone must find a way to defeat Boreas and reclaim her life.

Would you listen to Persephone again? Why?
YES. I would definitely listen to Persephone again and I plan on doing that many times. The story was wonderful and the characters were deep. I was able to get into the story very easily. What was one of the most memorable moments of Persephone?
Hades kissing Persephone and marking her as his bride, omg. *chills* Didn't even know him yet but I fell in love right there. What about Kaitlin Bevis’s performance did you like?
I loved how she added tone and snark to her character's dialogue. I didn't have to squint and figure things out myself, because Bevis let me know exactly what was going on at all times. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, of course. But how am I supposed to share these moments without spoiling the whole story?Any additional comments?
I loved the new take on the classic Greek myth of Persephone and Hades. Bevis did a wonderful job of taking a fairly-well-known story and turning it into something new and exciting!Amazing take on a classic tale!

If you could sum up Persephone in three words, what would they be?
touching, magical, and it's a story you can't put down.Who was your favorite character and why?
Hades was by far my favorite character, due to his quirky personality and his caring but cold persona.Which scene was your favorite?
I love the book from beginning to end. It's hard to pick a favorite part because everything was so well written. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I listened and read this book in one sitting. I did it with all Kaitlin's books. Every one of her stories is too captivating to put down.Any additional comments?
I would recommend this series to anyone who loves mythology or a quick read. This is one of my favorite series I've ever stumbled upon.A Myth With A Modern Twist
