Another great book!

As others have said, yes this was written for younger readers but it was still very fun to read! I bought the physical copy as well because I knew the illustrations would be worth it and I was right! Another great read from Dr. Lindsey Fitzharris and I am excited for whatever she comes out with next!

Eerie & Fun!

This is a great introduction for anyone curious about the history of disease. I read it with my kids and it peaked their interest in history. We all enjoyed the macabre history.

What a disappointment.

I was so excited that Lindsey Fitzharris had a new book out that I didn’t even read the description. This is NOTHING like her other books. It seems more suited for adolescents who are interested in medicine—which perhaps I should have guessed from the cover. For that audience it would be great, but there was little here that I didn’t already know. I am sorry that I wasted a credit on this, and I hope that Ms. Fitzharris returns to her usual work of producing well researched, in-depth, and fascinating books of medical history for adults.
