About this listen

From USA Today best-selling author Willow Winters comes an emotionally gripping, standalone, contemporary romance.

It was never love with Daniel, and I never thought it would be. It was only lust from a distance. Unrequited love maybe. He's a man I could never have, for so many reasons. That didn't stop my heart from beating wildly when his eyes pierced through me. It only slowed back down when he'd look away, making me feel so damn unworthy and reminding me that he would never be mine.

Years have passed, and one look at him brings it all back. But time changes everything.

There's a heat in his eyes I recognize from so long ago, a tension between us I thought was one-sided.

"Tell me you want it." His rough voice cuts through the night, and I can't resist. That's where my story really begins.

LOVE SICK

A sad but beautiful love story. Has a lot of backflashes that sometimes confused me, so I had to listen carefully. Too much angst. Characters suffered a lot of grief over the death of a family member.

A good listen, unique and intriguing.

I really liked these two characters for the most part but aspects of Addison did bother me throughout the book. Her indecisive attitude and the way she would run at the drop of a hat got to me after a while. I understood why she is that way and that going through tragedy can make someone afraid to let another person in but she wanted that so bad and then would run the second she got it, which was frustrating to listen to. Regardless of that, I liked this story. It deviated from the norm in several ways and it kept me hooked throughout with great performances.

Sad but good

Written well. I loved the concept of brothers falling in love with the same girl. Tyler’s departure was sad but mad he story deeply emotional.

Triangle

This was more like a case of want what you can't have. I didn't feel that Daniel was possessive over Addison. She wanted Daniel just as much only was with Tyler. This story was a little all over for me and found it a little hard to follow at times.

Such emotions!

Loved the narration both narrators did a excellent job bringing out the emotions of each character.

Daniel and Addison are both haunted over events that happened five years ago.
This was definitely a heartbreaking and emotionally beautiful story with plenty of heat.

A very sweet love story

Deep heatbreaking love that was told on a few different levels. Written perfectly so you can feel it all! A very good story for anyone wanting some love and angst but with a strong male character. Not to explicit but all enough for you to envision the whole seen. A great stand alone and quick read

Amazing story of reconnecting

I listened to the audio of this book and let me tell you it doesn’t disappoint. Addison and Daniel story really starts out all the Cross Brothers stories. You could feel the emotions as you read every word of there story. The Heartbreak that had them separated also as they reconnected after a Chance meeting. Addison and Daniel story will tear at your heartstrings but is also beautiful at the same time.
