Pretzels!

When a book starts out with warm, soft pretzels, you know you are in for a treat. Melody is a detective and when a murder happens in Majestic Cove, we know she will be on the case...even if she isn't supposed to be. When Connor, a person she had recently been investigating is found murdered, her interest is piqued. Without a current case to work on, Melody finds herself in the midst of help finding the murderer, and it won't be who you suspect. This is a fun, very quick, very delicious listen you don't want to miss. Stephanie Quinn brings it alive with her fabulous performance!

Good story

Pretzels, Problems, and Peril is a cute, clean, cozy mystery. I was enjoying the storyline and then it ended. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be a cliffhanger and will be continued? Regardless, it threw me for a loop because it had so many unexplored areas that could have been expanded upon. I did enjoy the writing style, story premise, and adorable characters and will look for a part two. The performer did a good job with narration.

Great characters in a short cozy mystery

Sometimes it is refreshing to have a short, sweet, cozy mystery that you can consume in one sitting. Pretzels, Problems and Peril is the perfect addition to an afternoon curled up on the sofa while staying at home. The book is well written and I loved Melody and Scott, as well as Melody's pushy mother who wants grandchildren now! Being a private eye, Melody cannot keep her nose out of the recent murder investigation, especially since it involves people she was recently investigating herself. After all, murder is rare in the small town of Majestic Cove and she is friends with the detective on the case. Will her sleuthing help or hinder the case? You will have to listen to get the answer. And if you are limiting your intake of sweets, beware because this book will make you crave them! I felt that the narrator sounded a little juvenile at times but I soon got used to that. I thank the author for providing me with a review copy.

Pretzels, Problems, and Peril

Melody is once again drawn into murder investigation. She had done a job for a woman and proven that that woman's fiance was cheating on her. Then a few days later the man who had been cheating on his fiance is found dead by fowl means. She can't believe that her client would do something like that. In the midst of the investigation her mother tries to play match maker with the detective who Melody once knew when she was younger. Melody decides to do some investigating of her own and the outcome is totally unexpected.
Stephanie Quinn is an excellent narrator who breathes life into the characters.

A fun tale.

This quick tale was so much fun Melody a lover of sweets is on the case. Now she is a bit pushy you might say but she simply cannot just let this one go. I love the interaction between her and Scott and the narration by Ms. Quinn was great. This book was short, sweet, and good.

Cute

This was a cute, quick listen. Perfect for when you want something to listen to while crafting! This is the first book from this author that I’ve read/listened to and it won’t be the last. I did receive a free copy of this book, but the review was my honest opinion.

Pretzels, Problems and Peril

I enjoyed this book, but felt it could have been longer, with at least a solution to the murder. This feels like it just abruptly ended and you were missing some. The narration was good.
