About this listen

Welcome back to Pride High, where the delicious drama continues! Ricky tries to sort through his feelings for Diego—the hot guy who has been bullying him—and ends up in the middle of a feud. Anthony and Cameron, now a couple, must navigate first times and coming out. Silvia finds herself questioning her feelings for Omar when someone else catches her eye…and it’s a girl.

Mindy finally gets to go on a date with a boy who isn’t gay. Love is in the air, but so are the holidays, pressure from parents, drunken parties, and way too many well-meaning lies. It’s going to be an interesting year!

Jay Bell successfully mixes playful banter, memorable characters, and mature issues in the continuing Pride series, as a group of queer teenagers try to figure out who they are and who they love.

The Pride series is intended for mature teenagers and nostalgic adults who enjoy sex-positive stories, realistic relationships, and gorgeous guys.

So So Good!!! Refreshingly Real

The characters are so well flushed out and have such superbly real dialogue and issues. My Favorite read ever from Jay Bell, and now one of my favorites ever in general!! It is actually so rare to have a character driven story this good. Cannot wait for the next one.

Loving this Series

I love Talia Carver's narrations in this series. I didn't think Jay Bell could create another addicting series after Something Like, but he has, and I look forward to the others in the series.

Great Series But..

Some of the characters are just insufferable. Mindy and Sylvia and genuinely some of the most frustrating characters I’ve ever seen in a book before. That’s it that’s the post. I understand that they are teenagers but their insane lack of good decision making is extremely annoying. Diego and Keisha are great additions to the main characters, it was refreshing to get a new character’s POV and I hope book 4 starts writing some characters out and introduces new characters cause as much as I like them I think it’s time to move on. Ricky continues being by far the best character in this book by no surprise, Keisha is also one of my favorites and Anthony and Cameron were pretty good as well. Omar is.. well Omar but I still liked him and felt pretty bad for him. Diego is a hard one I like him sometimes but other times he infuriates me. Anyways, can’t wait for Book 3 to be up audible!

Book 2 is just as gripping as Book 1

Simply no words can describe how much this book series has moved me so far. My only hope is that there are more Books in this particular series to come. At the time of this review book 3 is not yet available on Audible however I am so anxious to listen to it. Literally cannot wait. Please let there be more than 3...

The sotryline

This book was very good, but I have to say what Cylvia did to Ricky was disgusting. She is now my least favorite character of this series. The truth, no matter how painful, is always more important than any lie.

Drama, and little else

Too much drama for my taste. The narrator did the best he could with the material
