The story itself is decent, but the narrator sounds like he was recorded in an echo chamber and the voice actress who does the role of Connie is very mechanical. The quality of narration was poor to the point of being distracting.

I would 100% recommend this book. While the recording quality is not great it's not terrible. This is a story that needs to be told and heard by many! while improvement has been made to our system we could still do more. Had only a few people just believed and acted this poor woman would still be raising her adoring boy. Husbands and Wives... cherish your partner and most importantly STOP the CYCLE! Teach your babies to love not hate!

powerful message and incredible story

A compelling story but written in a some what simplistic manner. The readers for this item are not suitable. I almost returned this book because of the poor performance

This is a poorly written book about a victim being sadly stalked and then murdered by her estranged husband. Unfortunately, it missed the mark for me. The narrator was okay and sounded like he recorded the book in a bathroom, and then they added some woman who tried to act and was sometimes laughable, sorry to say, which detracted from the whole tragic story. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
