Wow!! I was blown away!

I highly recommend this book for the following reasons:
-Very well read
-The information provided is clear and concise
-Very well organized
-The author explains difficult concepts in a very easy manner
-As someone who did not know anything about project management, I finished the book feeling very knowledgeable about the topic, and what to expect to become an expert project manager.
Awesome book!!

Over the Top Enthusiasm

Good basic knowledge and mentions other sources to gain more advanced and specialized knowledge. Goes a little too far in bragging about this book even to the end of it.

Nothing New

Would not recommend if you have a degree in business. Great for learning how much is involved in project management however, you will need a business foundation to build on. If you work in a business and want more responsibly by taking on a project you will need more than this book to succeed. Excellent refresher for old guys like me but not for someone who is learning or thinking they can listen to this and be successful in project management.

long drawn out

I am sorry but this book kept going over and over repeated but saying the same thing in different ways.

I couldn't get past chapter 4 because of this.

Retalk- no actual project management skills explained

I made it to chapter 5. Couldn’t do it anymore. Very basic. Did not add any value to my knowledge.

Please do not waste your time

Cliches, condescension, hyperbole. Defining terms repeatedly, and self-referentially. If I have the ability I'll be requesting a refund.

Not really helpful

The book was trying to sell me on the idea.
Very few realistic practices were shared.
Disappointed

Whole book is a definition of project management

Save your time. Read the definition In a dictionary and get another book about how a manage a project, not what is the theory of who a PM is.
