If this had been the 1st book, I’m not sure I’d have listened to the series. Much repetitive angst & internal monologue between MMC & MFC through majority of book. With little other storyline. The 21st century is a flash with little detail. Did not feel much of it as precedent had set in this series & by this author. This story did not flow. Missed opportunities along the way. Though has a great ending that is not abrupt. Excellent narration. Also enjoyed the extra short story at the end. Still recommend this series. I have loved it. Looking forward to the next (maybe last?) in series.

I was excited for this book, but it is so boring I couldn’t finish it. I liked the previous books, but this one mostly recaps the previous books and has a boring plot.
