Roberts was hired in 1988 for Houston's UK portion of the Moment of Truth world tour. Accustomed to working for diplomats and Fortune 500 clients, Roberts had reservations about working with a pop star. But Houston's heart of gold won him over from the moment they met at Heathrow airport.

Roberts got to travel the globe with one of the most fun-loving and generous souls he'd ever met. His memoir reveals heartwarming anecdotes of life with one of the world's most recognizable stars, including privately shared moments such as the birth of Bobbi Kristina.

But there are also shocking and heartbreaking revelations. Roberts was present for some of Houston's most challenging ordeals. And he was helpless as he watched those who claimed to love and support her betray her confidence for their greed.

The narrator was perfect and allowed you to feel as though you were listening to an intimate conversation with friend sharing stories about someone they truly loved, admired and wanted to protect at all costs. This is the most respectful story I've heard about Whitney's early years. If only she had more people like him surrounding her. Rest easy Whitney!

I believe this memoir truly humanized Whitney and fills in the gaps Bobby Brown left out of his memoir. The bodyguard is a truly independent third party with no loyalty to anyone except Whitney. He does not seek to boost his ego or cover his transgressions which is the case in both Bobby and Robin's memoirs. I couldn't stop listening and I highly recommend this listen. The love the writer feels for her is truly evident in his narration. What a tragic loss of a beautiful soul.

A pure and raw as well as authentic remembering of Whitney Houston. One thing seems for certain is that everyone could not deny the outward as well as inner beauty that woman possessed. The peace and love she searched for and deserved was not to be found here on the earth for her unfortunately. I pray now that she has transitioned to be with her Lord and Savior that she is basking in all of the love she can withstand.
