Excellent

I loved it. I loved the characters and the story. There should have been more books since so much let unfinished. I hope he writes them soon. The narration was excellent also.

Good story

I liked the storyline, good plot and creative. The narrator was not for me, he lacked proper enthusiasm and had a hard time keeping my interest. I liked the story enough to power through those times but thought to myself I will not purchase another book narrated by him.

Underrated and a surprise.

Fantastic storyline. Loved the sci-fi theme, and especially the deductive reasoning explained on behalf of the main character. Nice to have a more logical and less emotional based book to read (same goes for the auothor's other books). Even the cheesy elements were still reasonable for the circumstances and were at the least entertaining. So glad I finally listened to this book despite it being less popular from Mayne.

When the world really is out to get you.

I loved the story and the premise. The only part I had any trouble with was that sometimes it sounds like the you're listening to 60 minutes rather than an audiobook. Just a different style of narration than I'm used to but didn't detract from the story.

Enjoyed this book immensely

From the beginning to the end. Wow. The plot and the narration makes this my favorite book of this year. The characters were all believable and the details that were thrown in to describe what was happening kept me glued to listening. Fantastic.

A likeable main character!

Interesting premise, interesting “science “, interesting warning, great plot twists, but much too much time spent on descriptions of the Chase and mayhem. Don’t miss the end.

Scary premise...

As per usual, Andrew Mayne Has written another thought-provoking thriller.
Mr. Collins does an excellent job bringing it to life. I won’t spoil anything but it is certainly worth the credit.

Great story!

This story is a nonstop adrenaline fueled race to get Mitch, an Everyman, to safety. It has everything, a shadowy agency, ruthless assassin, misled media, social media frenzy, and nowhere to hide. The main character is engaging, the villains many, and the plot was unique and interesting. Definitely worth the credit. Hope the is more Mitch in the future. Enjoy!

Starts out well

I like Andrew Mayne. This book moves well and is entertaining. But the main premise is just ridiculous. It stretched my suspension of disbelief far beyond it's limit. If you like the author, by all means listen to it. But don't expect anything remotely plausible.
