A story that I have been trying to finish for at least a year. As you get more into the intricate workings of the story, the excitement begins. A full web of deceit and not knowing whom to trust. if you like espionage, government issues, this book is for you.

Government at its Best

some times it was hard to follow at times. then the story of the "love affair" is hard to swallow.

good but not great.

This book was about a couple of married FBI prosecutor / investigators who were working with secret informants that could never be trusted. There are plenty of shoot-outs and double crosses to keep things interesting and unpredictable. The narrator also kept the story interesting.

Good Cop Story

I thought the phrase “I did it for you” was limited to a much used but lame excuse used by those in a committed relationship. Was I ever wrong. It also puts a bandaid on government sanctioned slaughter of innocent people. Maybe this should be our new motto instead of “They’re doing it too“. Or maybe just stick with “In God we…

great story and characters. I would have enjoyed a continuing saga! Just discovered the author.

almost wish there was a sequel!

What an awful story - poorly written, poorly narrated. Just a complete waste of 12 hours of my life. At times confused and confusing, I just didn't care for any of the characters and was just glad when it was all over - I just wish I'd gone with my gut instinct earlier and saved myself all those hours of boredom...
Don't waste your time on this, it has to be one of the worst stories I've ever listened to on Audible...

Truly dreadful

This has to be to most lack luster book I've read in a while. A convoluted mishhash of a tangled web of boring conspiracy I saw coming a mile a way. The saddest boring breakdown of a sad marriage to bland characters people. And the racist cherry on top every black character sounding like they from the hood. skip it.

No

The narration made the story seem to blur together. The many characters seemed rather flat.
