Cora Carmack
Princess or adventurer.
Duty or freedom.
Her Kingdom or the storm hunter she loves.
If Aurora knows anything, it's that choices have consequences. To set things right, she joins a growing revolution on the streets of Pavan.
In disguise as the rebel Roar, she puts her knowledge of the palace to use to aid the rebellion. But the Rage season is at its peak, and not a day passes without the skies raining down destruction. Yet these storms are different - they churn with darkness and attack with a will that's desperate and violent.
This feels like more than rage.
It feels like war.

***SPOILERS/THOUGHTS***
Enjoyed:
I really enjoyed Aurora's coming to power portion of this story. The first storm she absorbs being young, full of life, and innocence resonates well with her character. I was hoping that when she absorbed her second soul it would be another light beautiful soul, to be the opposite of the storm-lord character. I was hoping that when she was presented with her second storm heart to take she would somehow appease the soul as she had been doing/practicing for the whole second part of the book.
The last chapter of the book could have been filled out a bit more in my opinion with a deeper connection between Aurora and Cassius before him just committing to her. It's sort of weird for him to be so head over heels for her when he only really knew her for a few days, but I see where the author was trying to go with him losing a previous fiance and having some trauma there.
I kind of wanted the storm-lord to become one of those enemy-to-lover types of character's but after the second book in this series it seems that Cassius is to fill that role instead. In the end those are the kind of character relationships I'm most interested in.
Decent YA fantasy novel, INCLUDED in audible sub
