Publisher's summary

The adventures of Vampire Hunter D continue!

Vampires: murderous creatures in the shape of humans, they stalk the night feeding on the blood of innocents. Seemingly immortal, they can be destroyed only by the use of a stake through the heart, severing of their heads, or exposure to sunlight. By the year 12,090 A.D. vampires have ruled the Earth for almost 300 years, and it is only these weaknesses that have kept these foul monsters from totally overrunning the world.

But what happens when those rules no longer apply? The village of Tsepesh sits in the eternal shadow of an abandoned castle, a onetime stronghold of the Nobility, the vampire lords who rule the devastated wasteland of the future. Ten years ago four children disappeared while playing near the castle, only to mysteriously reappear a month later. Now vampires have begun to hunt in the daylight. Are the two events connected? The villagers turn to the vampire hunter known only as D, but as he follows the children, now adults, the answers he finds may be more terrifying than anything he could ever imagine.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

Audio performance of the classic, 'Vampire Hunter'

This is book four in the series, 'Vampire Hunter D'. This chapter reveals the supporting character of the Vampire Hunter, as an analytical hopeful, who awaits there new life in the capital. There hope is that there theory of the nobility, and there research surrounding 'The dark gene', (a secret agenda), will revolutionize the leadership.

Masterful Storytelling

Following the perfect vampire tale that was Kikuchi's original work, we get a small bit of backstory into D's past. He must unravel a strange phenomena of vampires that can seemingly attack in the day and delve into the mysterious disappearance of four children.
This is a tale that builds slowly but to a stunning finale and should not be missed. Highly recommended to all who love fantasy, not just horror.

I Could Get Used to This!

This is really the ideal way to enjoy these stories! I kind of wish that literally every man in the story apart from D wasn't a depraved rapist, but I suppose the author is trying to make a point of "Oh, Vampires are bad? What about humans?"

The world of Vampire Hunter D is very well thought out, so I'm excited to continue diving into it with the next volume.

I'm loving graphic audio!

the performance and audio quality is top-notch. book itself is quite dark and I love it. I hope more of the Vampire Hunter D series gets this treatment. I'm guaranteed to pre-order each and every one.
