Publisher's summary

A recipe for love:

One cup of homespun country farmer.
Two dollops of hotshot city chef.
A sprinkle of funky little restaurant.
Increase the heat until romance sizzles.

Hannah Little doesn’t have much use for fancy chefs or fancy restaurants, but that’s exactly what Three Willows Farm needs to survive. When a local restaurant wants to feature her produce, she’s thrilled. But the contract means working with an egotistical and (let’s face it) drop-dead-gorgeous head chef from New York City.

Chef Drew Davis can’t wait to run her own kitchen. If taking a job at some trendy farm-to-table restaurant in the middle of nowheresville will get her there faster, she’s on board. She has no intention of staying though, and that means the feisty farmer who keeps trying to tell her how to do her job can’t be anything more than a pleasant distraction.

Mouthwatering and Delightful

Who ever thought that romance and good nutrition could go together so wonderfully?
Thanks to the magnificent talent of our narrator, Lori Prince, we can bask in the enjoyment of a passionate love story, combined with an open door into how farms to table enterprises help make some fine restaurants far better than others, and how sophisticated chefs, can give us the best in dining experiences.
I learned a great deal about how fine professional kitchens operate and what differentiates good cooks from chefs.
I was also enlightened as to why some farms produce crops that are far more tasty and nutritious than others.
But, not at the expense of a truly riveting and very hit romance.
Bon Apetit readers.

Fun foodie romance

I defintely enjoyed this listen. My favorite Lori Prince narration to date. My first read written by Aurora Rey and I really enjoyed it. The storyline was great and the characters were good. I nornally fast forwardor skip over most sex scenes in audio, but these were written and narrated so well that I never had the urge to skip over it. Very enjoyable read and listen. Will definitely look for more by Rey.

Farm to table to forever after

I loved the story. Both main characters were intriguing and lovable. They each came with their own past and the unavoidable baggage, which led to some angst. Just the right amount, not too much and not too little. And neither wanted to fail in love, which made the story all that more delicious. Ah and delicious? Yes, I wanted to go eat at the restaurant and was constantly wanting a sample of the chef’s specials. And the food wasn’t all to be hungry about in this book! Aurora Rey has another top shelf book. And the narrator had some great voices to tell this story. Both the story and the narration were number one!

Loved everything about this story...sweet and steamy with a bit on angst and foodie themes, with great narration. Off to look for more Aurora Rey books!

Great story

I Really liked the characters and the story the narration was very good. It was a little confusing when a couple of the chapters were out of sequence however. I look forward to the next farm to table story

A real farm to table experience

I am admit to being a food addict, ex chef, ex farmer so was very interested in listening to this audio. I related so much to the growing of the food, the slow food movement, designing menu's around that, promoting ones business, food prep, staff issues, seasonal changes in produce, importance of family and that love of both can combine way past the kitchen or paddock. So well narrated by Lori, some of the terms/words used were new to me like the use of dude but then I guess that is pretty similar to close friends here in Oz calling each other mate. I enjoyed the story line it was one of growth, holding dreams close yet being open enough to realise new directions need not be a bad thing.
