I love these women. They are so funny together. Can’t wait to see whist story is next.

Another great story

I’m not sure why Christine Feehan who wrote my two favorite series Shadow Riders and Torpedo Ink, both with deliciously described sex scenes, decided to eliminate descriptive sex scenes from this series? There is a middle option from describing everything to describing nothing.. it’s torture because I know she can write the scenes very very well. I loved Zale and wanted at least one scene, even if it had to be in the past. But nope. Not one. Yet I still liked the book a lot. I was often bored with the women though and frustrated with them, but it’s who they are so I had to deal. The men are always fantastic and I seem to understand their point of view more than I understand the women. For instance, if I found out that my lover was actually there to protect me, my first thought would be yay! Bonus! It would never occur to me that he set it all up to sleep with me and he was lying about caring for me for his job. And if that’s his job, let him do it! Anyway.. by the end of the book I feel that either shabina or Rayne are the next book because we basically have all the makings of their romance laid out. I just hope we get some sex in the next book! And a pregnant Stella at least.

Good not great.

Love this story

I appreciated the story, but had to go back often to listen to a part that I lost interest in due to the narrator being factual and dry. Excited to see where the next book goes, but I won't buy if it is the same narrator.

Storyline is there... it was a tough listen though

I love following these women and their loves. The attention to detail makes you feel like you're there with them.

The story was very compelling

Christine Feehan took me on another journey that obliterated my reality. The suspence kept me on the edge of my seat and her attention to detail explained experiences I would've never understood otherwise. Add in characters with real life flaws and hidden strengths while pursuing a melting passion and this is a 10 star story.

Twists and turns galore

Possible spoiler alert.
This second book in the series has girl pack member and overachiever Vienna Mortenson participating in a gambling tournament in Las Vegas. The unusual interest of casino owner Wallen leads to the revelation of lifelong secrets about her parents. The situation gets deadly when egos and a major inheritance come to the fore. Lucky that ghost agent Zale Vizzini has been brought in with his partner to observe and protect. Vienna has to overcome her attraction, anger and frustration when Zale never contacted her after a steamy camping trip. They first met when Sam Rossi called in favors to get help protecting Stella and her friends and would have met again at their upcoming wedding. Speaking of which, why didn’t Stella and Sam stop by the hospital before or after the ceremony to visit their critically wounded girl pack member and let her see them in their finery? They’re supposed to be an extended family - Is two minutes too much to ask? You lost half a star for that one, Ms Feehan. My family loves both cats and dogs and I won’t go into a rant on her representation of felines by the character of Princess. ::Shudder::
Bresnahan does a pretty decent job of narration.

Shame on the Publisher for writing such a poor Summary for the audiobook. You have to go to the Amazon kindle page for a decent description.

So glad to read a series like this with great narrator and much more interesting plot lines than the last few, which were so dark and predictable. Great stories, suspense, such a good read! Can’t wait for the next one!!! Thanks!

Great new series!
