A boy and his father walk on the shore of an ocean filled with bloody spears cast off from a war between gods.
A father travels back in time over and over, unable to rescue the mother of his child, but then....
A mischievous satyr lurking in a dungeon has a field day with trespassing adventurers.
A mirror sits in the lobby of an ancient palace, and twice a year under the light of the moon you can walk through it to another world. But at what cost?
These tales and more are in Resurrections, a compilation of short stories written by Chris Philbrook, author of Tesser: A Dragon Among Us, Adrian's Undead Diary, and The Kinless Trilogy.

What did you love best about Resurrections?
I loved to see a glimps of some of the many worlds that live inside the mind of Chris Philbrook. I loved hearing stories with new and different characters, and the stories with familiar and beloves characters. What was one of the most memorable moments of Resurrections?
I absolutely loved the time travel story. The sacrifice was so heart wrenching. What does James Anderson Foster bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He has an excellent talent of reading many different characters with out repeating the same voice and without making women sound creepy. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely in fact it kept me wanting more! At the end of most of the shorts I found myself disappointed(that they were over), and wanting for more!Any additional comments?
Chris Philbrook has a way of writing that will suck you in and keep you wanting more the stories in Resurrections are no exception! An excellent compilation of short stories!

What did you like best about this story?
This is a collection of a bunch of short stories. I love it and hate it at the same time. What I mean is Philbrook sucks you to a story quickly and I love that part. I hate the part where it ends and he always leaving you wanting more of that story line. Then the next adventure starts and the roller coaster starts all over again. What about James Anderson Foster’s performance did you like?
James Foster is a true master. He nails all the characters and his cadence makes you feel the story. You feel what the character feel. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There was so many great parts of the different stories, but my favorite is where my friend was used for a story in a series that I love. Nahuel you are the man!Philbrook has done it again!!!

My two favorite stories from before were Yerba Mate and Steve Goes to the City. While still favorites, I feel it would be a disservice to leave out What Would You Do?, The Sea of Spears and Scars.
I also feel it would be a disservice to not mention the wonderful work of James Foster. I've been a big fan of his since I started listening to Audio Books and he didn't disappoint me with his narration.
Awesome!

Key takeaway...entertaining stories that you don't have to have devious knowledge of anything to enjoy...but there are definitely special nods to those die hard fans across the board.
Oh, and James Anderson Foster's comforting voice is flawless as per usual.
Time Travel & Zombies...and a lot more
