Publisher's summary

With four missing persons and witnesses who refuse to talk, Kadenburg’s sheriff finds himself in a bind on what to do. Swallowing his pride and biting the figurative bullet, he calls for backup: His son.

Twenty-nine-year-old Rutley Holter hesitantly returns to his hometown to rejoin the family business: Hunting werewolves. He never intended to return to Kadenburg, but it soon becomes personal when he discovers his best friend has been murdered - presumably by the very same sniveling mutts his father suspects to be responsible for the disappearance of some locals.

While searching for familiar faces, he has a chance encounter, and consciously rescues, Dimitri, who just happens to be the one thing he was raised to kill. It isn’t long before he begins to fight an inner battle of loyalty, and the line between right and wrong starts to blur.

Being threatened by Breslin Connor is the least of Lorcan and Presley’s worries. As they struggle to find normalcy in an incredibly extraordinary town, they will come face-to-face with demons from their pasts and ponder over an uncertain future.

Will their love for one another truly conquer all?

New characters and adventures will emerge in book two of the Kadenburg Shifters Series. Prepare yourself for laughter, tears, and nail-biting suspense as you re-enter the most magical little town in Tennessee.

Welcome back.

Kadenburg is back

Starts off right where book 1 ends. We meet new ursathropes and wolf hunters are introduced. Surprises all around that keep you reading. And... cliffhanger ending 😭.

Lots of characters. Lots of stories.

I received a complimentary Audible copy of this book from Story Origin. This is my honest review.
This is Book2 in this series. I have not experienced Book 1. I did feel quite lost with so many characters and strange names. As I persisted along, the story was so interesting, I enjoyed the whole thing. Lots of characters so lots of storylines. Lots of events. Some even funny.
I was blindsided by the gay characters and their activism in this book. I feel that is a topic the blurb should warn us about.
The narrator did a great job with this book. Lots of different voices for lots of different characters. But because of the strange names, it would have been better for me to read this one.

I really enjoyed this book.

I really enjoyed this book. The narrator does a good job with the different voices. I'm really hoping she will put the other books on audible. There is a total of 4 books so far first 2 on Audible. I believe she is hoping to put the others on audible. I understand there will be a 5th book soon that I believe will be the end of the series. This does end in a cliffhanger.
