About this listen

From the bestselling author of The Ravenhood Trilogy comes an angsty, steamy journey filled with love, loss, and self discovery.

Thirty years ago, my father became the other half of a broken love story.

A relationship he’s kept hidden for decades.

Upon unearthing his secret through a series of emails in our paper’s archives, I began my search for the truth. Haunted by my father’s love story, and in my quest for answers, I never imagined I would discover a love of my own. Or that my love for Easton Crowne would be key in discovering the reason behind what split our parents up.

Doomed from the start and knowing the havoc our relationship would inevitably wreak on our families, I could never have prepared for the toll it would take or the cost of the truth.

But in order to find our ending, we had to go back to their beginning.

My name is Natalie Butler, and this is my star-crossed love story.

⭐️ 5.. 10.. 15.. 20 STARS - IT’S STILL NOT ENOUGH ⭐️

I’ve listened to A LOT of romances in my 9+ years of being an Audible member.. but NEVER EVER EVER has a story consumed me like this breathtaking Duet has done. I thought the first book was epic and tore my heart in two.. however, this phenomenally written story.. well just WOW.. WOW.. WOW Ms. Stewart.

It’s angsty and full of bittersweet emotional highs and heartbreaking lows. It’s sweet as a tentative, close, supportive friendship is made between two forbidden strangers. It’s powerful and inevitable when their hearts cross that treacherous line. It’s oh so beautiful and touching and sexy and passionate for too short a while. It’s the knock at the door that shatters their dreams. And then.. then.. gulp.. then.. sniff.. then comes the rollercoaster of everything else as Kate takes Easton and Natalie from the pits of despair and devastation to, eventually, the magical joy and sunshine of beautiful beautiful beautiful second chances.

Worth a credit? Yes.. and it’d be worth so many more. My life has happily gone on around me for the past week without much input or involvement from me because Kate Stewart has, once again, written a twisted tale I just couldn’t stop - not even at 2 am. And the narrators stick to their own genders which brings realism and continuity to the chapters. The voice acting of Joe and Maxine should win them an award for the fabulous work they put into this very memorable story. WOW again - and I’ve ‘one-clicked’ the Novella coming in November.

Wow, Wow, Wow another Kate Stewart masterpiece

I loved Drive but I have to say Reverse is even better and that is saying A LOT.
Once again KS had me completely invested in every character from start to finish. I was on the edge of my seat multiple times. I actually jumped up from under the covers and said, NO WAY, THEY CAN’T END LIKE THIS.

I laughed…I cried (real tears at multiple places) and I raged at the infuriating moments of stupidity on both the MMC and FMC’s behavior.

I listened straight through on this one (1 hr of sleep in 24 hrs). I was trying to convey to my husband in the car today how amazing a writer Kate Stewart is. He listened intently and for the very first time did not make fun of what he refers to as my, “mommy porn”🙄 He agreed with me about the depth of writing and I felt validated. Of course I left out the STEAMY details of which there are many. The chemistry is off the charts and the spice is definitely 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Do not hesitate for one second on getting this series. I PROMISE YOU it’s worth it.

Heartbreakingly amazing!

Another beautiful story from Kate Stewart.
Reverse is the sequel to Drive and is no less amazing than the first book.
Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell does an incredible job bringing the story to life. 10/10 recommend!

1 billion stars ⭐️⭐️💫💫

I always thought the description of heartburn because of heartbreak was ridiculous. But holy f#!k, I felt it sooo much. So many feelings that I am exhausted with the aftermath. Read it! You won’t be sorry.

Can I give it 100 stars?

I read Drive and Reverse last year and was absolutely gutted by the story. I guess I’m a glutton for punishment because listening to them absolutely DESTROYED me, in the absolute best way. Joe Arden as Easton Crowne made me fall so much deeper into the story. The emotion he put into this performance is other worldly. Have and will continue to recommend this to everyone!

Awesome 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Kate Stewart this book is one of the best 2 part books I’ve enjoyed ever so far. It had me shedding a few tears as well as smiling. Great job👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. The two part narrators so good. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell awesome job. ♥️ You need to listen to part 1 Drive first.
