About this listen

Parker Wilson has the life he's always wanted: an apartment in Brighton Pier, amazing family and friends, and a job he loves. With the invitation to his childhood best friend's engagement party, the safe haven he's created around himself is soon flooded with memories of the past. The roadblock he's taken years detouring soon becomes a reality he can no longer avoid. After six years, Parker will have to see Sarah's brother again—the only man he's ever truly loved.

After running away from the truth and moving to Boston, Jason Maxwell must finally face Parker again—and the guilt he's felt for leaving Parker all those years ago. After confronting the man who changed everything Jason thought he knew about himself, Jason realizes the miles he's put between them hasn't diminished what Parker means to him. Now, with the undeniable way he feels about Parker, Jason is determined to finally make things right.

Can a second chance finally land Jason and Parker on the path to happiness they've waited years for, or will they discover the final destination is actually the end of the road?

Contains mature themes.

All the books of this series offer a very different storyline and they all fit together so well. Every story will pull on your heart strings.

My heart

This was the first series I have read (listened) to by Jaclyn Quinn and it won't be the last. I really loved every character in every book. I honestly couldn't say who I loved more. They all had a back story that had me in the feels. Kirt Graves is an excellent narrator and did such a great job with all the voices. I know it has been almost four years since this book came out but I would really love to see a book for Malik, Gigi, and Liam. That would be sooooo awesome!!

Loved it!

These two were a long time coming. So much heartache between the two of them. Patience and determination is what brought them back together. Love it

Everything!

This is the second series I finished of yours. I am so in love with both your series so far. You are a fantastic writer and all these books are amazing! I fell in love with every single character and the growth that came with them. I am really sad to finish Haven’s Cove/Beyond the Cove. I am going to miss every character. All the emotions I went through reading the stories. I highly recommend these.

Loved it but lol at Jersey

This book is adorable and I'd definitely listen again. I just had to giggle at a few moments because of references that will stick out like sore thumbs to anyone from New Jersey. The beaches are beautiful in summer, but the water is never blue green - it's too cold! - but the biggest one by far was calling the Parkway the Garden State Expressway?! lol. Nevertheless, this was a fun read with a sweet second-chance story.

Love This Series!

I wrote a review after Book 1 in this series…and, at the time, could not wait to see how the other books would fare…

Good people, they did not disappoint. I mean…I’m sitting here grinning like crazy after finishing the last (most recent? 🙏🏽) one - Road to You…just cannot stop smiling. Such a feel-good ending on all of the books…although…fair warning…they all give a bit of insight into some pretty serious issues and topics.

Fabulous characters, superb storytelling, all the feels, just enough angst, all sorts of WTH-moments…especially in Book…wait…no…I don’t like it when there are spoilers in book reviews, so I won’t do it. Nope. Trust me. Read the books. Jaclyn knows how to freakin’ spin a tale…and season it with lots of spice! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Kirt Graves🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Truly fantastic narration! He brought the whole thing to life with all the right voices, intonations, etc…just *CHEF’S KISS*

Enjoy!💖

Much ado about nothing - especially from this series!

Having read books 1,3 and 5, this book falls flat in comparison to the other two. Significantly shorter, it feels as if Quinn lost steam in the series finale. Perhaps those seventy pages she didn’t put into this book might have contained what is detail that is missing.

While the book starts strong, and spends a lot of time alluding to this terrible thing that was done to Parker. Once the event, which is quite choppily told in flashbacks, fully unfolds - I was left thinking; is that all? Don’t go looking for the well defined and detailed histories of trauma and abuse that Novak or Rider survived. The other mild disappointment is that it doesn’t do much to move the previous stories along. Each of the other titles has taken place in the near future. This story runs mostly concurrent with book three, Appeal to You. The epilogue is wildly short and vague. The narration remains top notch and benefits the material. This isn’t a title I will revisit, unlike the other two I mentioned that I have listened to several times each. Not terrible, but for me, not worth the credit.

not buying the premise, but okay

This is probably the most unnecessarily dramatic installment of the series, and at times, I found myself rolling my eyes in frustration at the characters or writing. I have difficulty with the idea that these two people would be so fixated on one another for 6 years but never see each other during that time. There's not a good enough explanation for the extended separation, and it's all so very over-the-top with everybody's emotions. Not my favorite of the series, but it's still decent.
