Lynn Cahoon has crafted a nice addition in the Tourist Trap Mystery series, with all the characters we’ve grown to love. I highly recommend this book / audiobook to cozy mystery fans.

Nice addition to series

Lynn Cahoon took us on a short trip back to South Cove, California. Jill finds herself in the middle of a murder before she realizes. Jill and her boyfriend (Greg King the Police Detective) outguess each other with each next step with the solving of a murder.
Susan Boyce's narration took us all back to South Cover and to our characters in an instance. Great Job --Thanks

Only wish it was a full novel (short novella) ---I like this series.

Tourist Trap is a series I look forward to read

This novella is a quick and easy read as a stand alone. The series reminds me of Murder She Wrote and Cabot Cove only this heroine, Jill, owes the book store in town and has a steady boyfriend in the police chief. It's funny when they both show up in the same places "investigating". Jill gets involved in solving the crime of the murdered volunteer fire chief even though she herself wanted to kill the man. Never dreamed the ending!

Love this series

THESE NOVELLAS ARE JUST A TEASE. I LISTEN TO THEM BUT ALWAYS FEEL CHEATED. I LOVE JILL AND THE CAST OF CHARACTERS AND I WANT A FULL BOOK OF THEM. SO, WHILE THIS WAS ENJOYABLE, I WON'T GIVE IT 5 STARS. IT IS LAZY.

LOVED THE "BOOK" BUT

South Cove is preparing for the July 4th Festival when the fire chief throws a monkey wrench into the businesses by threatening to close the businesses if they don’t fix “violations” he makes up on the spot. Then a Murder happens and Jill is back in action. A short story that adds to the series fun.

July Fourth Burn

I miss the memo that this was book 4.5 not the newest book that is very confused when I started the story and all the things that had changed we're no longer changed

We went backwards

It’s always refreshing to hear a modern mystery without all the racy stuff. What a lovely imagery of a community that cares for each other and the genuine response to community members that are less than likable.

I typically don’t listen to American writers because they tend to be racy so this is a series appreciated.

Clean mystery

Preparing for Fourth of July brings the death of a fire inspector. Jill investigates and discovers a sad reason behind what appeared to be a murder but may be something altogether different.

A sad one

I was looking forward to to this release. Pre-ordered and completely missed the 4.5. You can't go backwards and expect fans to be happy!

Disappointed

Another person called this series clean due to no sex scenes, but I really hate the description because it suggests that sex is dirty. Yes, there is little to no swearing and no graphic sex or violence. The adult relationships as described are extremely immature and shallow; after 5 books I don't know any more about the main characters than after the first one.

Hate the Word Clean
