About this listen

Imperium Secundus lies revealed as a heretical folly. Terra has not fallen, though it remains inaccessible. Sanguinius, Guilliman and the Lion El’Johnson, the primarchs of the Triumvirate, must reach Terra at all costs. They seek to defend the Emperor and to atone for their sins.

But the Ruinstorm, a galaxy-wide maelstrom of chaos, hides the Throneworld from the primarchs. Now the fleets of three Legions depart Macragge, and the primarchs will stop at nothing to overcome the Ruinstorm. Yet an insidious enemy watches their every move, and plots against the weaknesses of the errant sons of the Emperor. Each has his own inner storm, and each marches towards his own ruin.

A solid entry for the Heresy series

The narrator was phenomenal, but the story itself was a bit slow moving considering the breadth of material it covers. Could have used more Primarch fighting scenes.

Space Adventure, slash, pew, slash!

Very good, didn’t expect to love it so much. When the trio of Primarchs make it to the giant space castle, oh my. Also, I’m glad that I listened to Damnation at Pythos, I always wondered what was gonna happen with that.

Exciting and Impactful

This was a very welcome reward after Tallarn. A fasinating look into the minds of 4 Primarch’s and their thoughts and struggles against the nature of destiny itself.

Solid book.

The story is a little complex and some what cluttered. It does have some strong sections that are enjoyable. it is worth the time if you are fans of Blood Angels and Dark Angels.

beautiful!

this was beautifully written, fitting for such a pivotal story in the heresy.

Jonathan Keeble is my favourite 40k narrator, and as always, delivers a stunning performance

A very enjoyable book to hear

It was my first book with such a duration and I really enjoyed it. I heard it with breaks but always it took me seconds to get back to the climate of horus heresy and on what this book was all about
