He is summoned back to Arizona to visit his dying grandfather, one of the original Navajo Code Talkers. Ashamed he has disappointed his hero grandfather, he buries himself one more time in the arms of a stranger before he goes back to his home in Northern California.

Luci Tohe teaches at the reservation school, safeguarding the health of her ailing mother and little sister's future, at the temporary expense of her own. Danny cleans his life up, joins the Navy and becomes a SEAL, where he becomes the man he knew he was destined to become. Between deployments, he goes back to visit the girl he cannot get out of his mind. Full of action, drama, and passion!

I loved Danny and Luci’s story. They met one night when they both needed someone. In their night of heated passion they found a connection that neither could let go of or forget.

Danny is dealing with his grandfather’s passing and the native voices are pulling at him to take control of where he is going in life. Finding his calling, he ends up with Seal Team 3 determined to turn his life around.

Luci is a very strong heroine. In all the difficulties she has endured, she remains strong in her struggle to better her life and that of her sister. Dealing with a drug and alcohol addicted mother and her troublesome ways leads to danger no one could predict.

SEAL’s Code is full of action, drama, passion, and heated sex. I really enjoyed seeing Danny transform into a strong alpha-male who began to understand and accept his heritage. I had to re-read a few sections in the beginning to fully understand what was going on, but it didn’t take long for everything to flow and grab me. I didn’t want to put it down, especially when the *poop* hit the fan and things spiraled. This is part of a series but can definitely be read as a stand-alone.

I read this book a few months ago and loved it, but I must say, JD Hart has an amazing voice and he brings the story to life. Great Job!

A warrior is born , destiny will not be denied.

What made the experience of listening to SEAL's Code: Bad Boys of SEAL Team 3, Book 3 the most enjoyable?

As always it is J. D. Hart, he is a great narrator. The person who is telling the story makes or breaks an audio book. No matter how great the story , the wrong person telling it can be detrimental.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I really liked Danny. He started off lost and found his way. He was a complex character with great potential and I liked watching him grow into the man he became.

What does J.D. Hart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

J. D. Hart gives you another look at the story through eyes of someone else. Sure the author who wrote the story saw it and experienced it one way. You the reader see it in your head another way and when you listen to a story narrated by someone awesome like J.D. you see it another way. The different prospective is always a great addition to any good book and can make it more enjoyable to the reader.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Let the past enhance your future. Or something like Listening to the voices will show you the way. Destiny will not be denied.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed the look at the culture and the fact the the Code talkers were honored in this book. they played an important part of history and I think many have forgotten how things could have gone really bad without them. Ms. Hamilton does a great job of incorporating so many different and diverse subjects in her stories reminding us of the important part the military plays in our freedoms.

Great Audio!!

Would you listen to SEAL's Code: Bad Boys of SEAL Team 3, Book 3 again? Why?

Yes, I would. Love the voices

What other book might you compare SEAL's Code: Bad Boys of SEAL Team 3, Book 3 to and why?

I think any of the SEAL Brotherhood books would do.

What does J.D. Hart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

J.D. Hart brings the story alive.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Danny would do anything to get to his family.

Any additional comments?

Another great book by Sharon Hamilton!! I love reading about Navy SEALs. It is in my top 4 (Firemen, Marines, Cowboys). I was a little bit confused in the beginning of the book, but I understood why after a chapter or 2. In Book #1, we had the main character already being a SEAL in the beginning, but in this book, Danny had to go through some growing up to do and then, he decided to get his life together and being a SEAL was just what he needed.

In this book, we got a lot.
Seals!!!
Mystery
Suspense
Hot Sex
Action
Great Chemistry
Action

Luci is my favorite character. Luci is a strong woman and would do anything for her family. Her sister, Sarah, is everything to her and will protect her. She meets Danny because she is lonely. Danny has denied his heritage and refused to listen to the voices of his ancestors, but when he needed them, there they were.

There are 2 things about this book that stood out for me. I don't remember reading a book about the Native American heritage and it was nice to read about. The other thing is that this SEAL was not a SEAL in the beginning of the book.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Native SEAL

What made the experience of listening to SEAL's Code: Bad Boys of SEAL Team 3, Book 3 the most enjoyable?

JD Hart's amazing performance made Sharon Hamilton's marvellous SEALs even more enjoyable

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Sharon Hamilton had researched well for her native hero.
I also liked Danny's development into the hero he was meant to be.

Have you listened to any of J.D. Hart’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to all JD's performances of Sharon Hamilton's books and he just keeps getting better

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A hero learns the CODE

Any additional comments?

Once again the collaboration between JD Hart's narration and Sharon Hamilton's words make a splendid listen

Another great addition

Any additional comments?

I loved the story of Danny & Luci. So far I have only read 3 books of this series (book 1, 2 and this one) and this one has been my favorite. I think mostly because it had only 1 storyline going on vs book 1 that had multiple stories going on at the same time.

I really enjoyed the story concept, the characters and their dialogue. I liked the Native American aspect of the story. It was nice to see the timeline of someone joining the seals vs. already being part of it.

Unfortunately we really didn't see any "romance" in this book. Was their hot sexy bits? Yes! but actual wooing and romancing? Nope. We had a hook up then, bye bye Danny to the service. Surprises await Danny when he comes back home and next thing you know, he and Luci are in love. It happened a lil too quickly for me.

Danny has his hero moment and we have our HEA.

All in all, a good read. This is a multi pov. Even though it is part of a series, it can be read as stand alone.

Would I recommend this book? yea

Would I read more from this author? yea

Great Story

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked Danny and the way he grew from his experiences to take on his responsibilities.

Which scene was your favorite?

I enjoyed the scenes of the Native American Indian culture and learning why their ways mean so much to them.

Any additional comments?

This is an interesting story that incorporates personal growth with Danny's acceptance of his Native American Indian culture. The way that Danny and Luci connect and stay connected was wonderful. I really enjoyed learning about their relationship and seeing it grow. There was the drama with Luci's sister and mother that was well handled. J.D. Hart did a wonderful job with the narration. I really like the way Sharon Hamilton wrote this story. I received a copy of the book in exchange for my review.

almost there

First, I love the SEAL Brotherhood series and Ms. Hamiton's writing style. I love the premise in this book, mixing the Navaho culture, living on a Native reservation, the everyday struggle for a better life, the native legends and the SEALs heroism. I had a hard time at the beginning to understand Danny, but as time passed his choices were better and he became the hero we expect in the series. A bad, misguided boy becomes a hero. Lucy is a strong and loyal woman, a good match for who Danny becomes. There is action, drama, scorching hot scenes, but a few things didn't fit, some scenes were glossed over and left me confused. A few secondary characters have conflicting attitudes, one of them being Lucy's Mother.
The performance of Mr. Hart is excellent as usual, I am a big fan.
