Life and Culture-Shifting Resource that is accessible!

This book is very practical and takes the reader (listener) step-by-step in improving your life by (re) focusing on simple, daily, spiritually-integrated practices to improve your self care. The author's expertise and experience show through making this the ideal resource for individuals, couples, groups and leadership teams. She has outdone herself and the reader who presents is clear, consistent and easy to listen to. I highly recommend and have already used this in my own life and helped others receive the change that they have needed.

Practical Explanations, Examples, and Techniques

While I didn’t utilize this book in a weekly fashion, but instead listened to it within a week, I still found it to be so rewarding. Once I started listening, I couldn’t stop and took several notes. As a Christian, woman and person of color, I found this book to be authentic and refreshing. I’m already shifting my perspective around self-care as a result. Highly recommend.
