About this listen

An exciting series, especially for readers new to the Forgotten Realms!

Thazienne Uskevren, the only legitimate daughter of the wealthy Uskevren family, has suffered blow after blow to her body and spirit. Even as she struggles to mend her fractured soul, Tazi finds herself on a journey that will take her far from the safety of Selgaunt and into the deadly heart of the Calim Desert. There the shifting sands hide an old foe, who holds the key to Tazi's salvation - or the doom of Sembia.

i loved every minute of this book. I am looking forward to the final book in the series.

i loved it

The only reason I finished this was it's placement as the second to last novel in the series. The author seems to lack a basic understanding of the mechanics of the Forgotten Realms universe. Her characters are shallow and not interesting, and her battle scenes are excruciating to listen to. I've listened to other books with this narrator, and she is mediocre at her best, and with the lack of solid material to work with, she only manages to make a bad situation worse.

Bad story with underwhelming narration

This story was poorly written and reads even worse. The narrator usually reads romance novels not fantasy books. Did not enjoy this and moving on anytime i see this narrator again.

Not great
