Publisher's summary
In the epic conclusion of the Fate of the Fallen series, the stage has been set for a revolution. After the council’s lack of reaction to the assassination of one of their own, the rebels grow bolder - and if they truly allow supes to join their ranks, they might be able to achieve the impossible. Hope has been rekindled, and nowhere has it been stronger than with the son of the former rebellion leader, Noah Franklin. Will he and Khaz throw in for more than a night, or will they choose to isolate themselves from what might still be a futile cause?
Reese’s allegiance to Elias Ivers has compromised his own desires to aid the rebellion, along with his disapproval of their “take no prisoners” approach. He and his claimed humans, Ashton and Leo, have different agendas, but can they come together in a time of need?
Newly-ascended Elder Elias Ivers has a target on his back - and it’s not only from sympathizers and rebels. Even those amongst his own ranks are loath to accept him, and he finds that taking control is not as easy as he’d thought. With his werewolf pet, Jace, at his side, can he show the council what it truly is to rule?
Humans have fought for a decade to regain their freedom, and now, the time has come to reclaim it. The restlessness and strife among the vampires, witches, and werewolves who rule over humanity leaves them a unique opening...if they can only figure out how to take advantage of it.
Sanguine is not a stand-alone. It also contains significant spoilers for the Need Trilogy. For the most part, I’ve done my best to avoid spoilers across the Fate of the Fallen world, but the Need Trilogy goes hand-in-hand with the series's story.

For a thousand years the ash fell and no flowers bloomed. For a thousand years the Skaa slaved in misery and lived in fear. For a thousand years the Lord Ruler, the "Sliver of Infinity," reigned with absolute power and ultimate terror, divinely invincible. Story
All Dahlia wanted was her freedom. But first, she needed to buy out of her promised bonding - a promise that was made for her before she was even born. Almost a century of trying had taken its toll, and she did some things she isn’t proud of. She lost parts of herself along the way and flirted with the darkness inside her...and it flirted back. Everything in her life systematically blew up in her face one piece at a time. Blaming it all on the beautiful, egotistical vampire who showed up in her life would be easy, but it started long before he arrived.

Story
Twelve-year-old Sophie has never quite fit into her life. She’s skipped multiple grades and doesn’t really connect with the older kids at school, but she’s not comfortable with her family, either. The reason? Sophie’s a Telepath, someone who can read minds. No one knows her secret - at least, that’s what she thinks.... But the day Sophie meets Fitz, a mysterious (and adorable) boy, she learns she’s not alone. He’s a Telepath too, and it turns out the reason she has never felt at home is that, well...she isn’t. Fitz opens Sophie’s eyes to a shocking truth....

Perfect ending
I’m so sad that this is over but I loved the wrap up with everyone! Khaz and Noah were my favorites and they certainly got to a good place.
R. Phoenix is ingenious when it comes to world building and Jack Noble just takes her characters and brings them to life.

Best end for an amazing series ~
This is the last book in this amazing dark and supernatural series ~ And it has just the best end, full of action and mystery, but also pretty hot moments. The narration is like always beautiful for every characters, rich of characterisation and emotions. ♡

A great conclusion....
Sanguine is the seventh book in the The Fate of the Fallen series by R. Phoenix and concludes this dark, twisted but addicting saga. Some things are resolved while others left room for a revisit in the future perhaps. The book is well written, the characters wonderfully crafted and the world uniquely created within this series and this book does not disappoint in its delivery of a satisfying ending to this story arc. I really feel like this was the best book of the series.
Jack Nobel is the narrator of the story and does an amazing job bringing the characters to life for the listener. His voice is smooth and fits the mood of the story. Definitely adds to the experience.

What a twisted wonderful world
Is it really over? For some yes, and for others there is more to come. I'm heartbroken and sated at the same time. So much has come to pass, and much more to process, but I'm happy with this ending and look forward to the follow up. Drama, surprises, sadness, and happiness. What a wild journey! Thanks author. The narrator really captured the many characters essences and greatly addedto my listening experience.

I loved it
This was such a good book. It is the end of the series. It was really bittersweet to say goodbye to the characters that I love so much. Some of the endings I liked, some others not so much, but as a whole thing, I was please with how everything went.
The narration was great. I was worried because of the amount of characters who show in this book and the possiblity of things getting confuse, but the narrator did a great job there. I think this one had a bit faster pace than the previous instalments, which was a good things because I think the others were too slow. I enjoyed the narration a lot.
The plot is amazing. There are a lot of twist and turns. Definitely unexpected, which is something that I loved. It had mystery, action and romance. A little bit of everything in paranormal world that has made me love the genre. It still have some of the dark themes that I loved from the start but in this instalment is a little tone down. It had a great connection with some others series in the same world. For which I would recommend to read them before reading this book.
One of the things I liked the most about the book, is the place given to women in the story. I loved the women that take some part on it. It was great to read about such characters and I wouldn’t mind to know more of them. As for the main characters, it is truly sad to say goodbye to them. I loved every single one of them for different reasons. Even the ones that I didn’t liked that much, had an interesting story to tell. It’s been a joy to read, not only thins book but the whole story.
Of course, I couldn’t love it all. There are some endings that, as I have my favorites, didn’t quite bring me the satisfaction I would expect. But I know every reader can’t be please and even if I’m not happy with every characters ending. I do believe it worked well for the story. Definitely a recommended book, after reading the previous instalments on the series.

I loved how Phoenix was able to fit all the stories into this one book! It really brings together the series!
In my opinion, this is a cliff hanger which drives me nuts because I have to know what is coming next!!!
And the story with Reece and Ash! It breaks my heart but also made me eager to see a threesome play out! I mean who wouldn’t love the big burly werewolf caring for both his mates?!
And as always, audio was excellent! I love the static sounds when a character is on the phone!

A wonderful and twisted Ending.
Thank you for the audio,I voluntarily give this an honest review. As conclusions go this was by far the best. Narrator Jack Noble did a fantastic job with all the characters. if you have followed this series be ready war is coming.. or is it? who will be the victor?
