About this listen

Pell learns to love pants. Pie learns to love magic. And Tomas learns to love a woman.

Pie and Pell are like two peas in a pod: meant for each other, madly in love, and living their best lives as Mr. and Mrs. Monster of Saint Mark’s...kind of. Pie is dreading her new job working for the tall, dark, and sleek Modern Minotaur. And the irony that just a few weeks ago she was demanding that Pell allow her to get a job to support the sanctuary, isn’t lost. It’s like the gods are playing with her on purpose.

Pell is still his grumpy self but he’s got a new job as well—babysitting a bag of magic rings that seem to have a mind of their own. No matter where he hides them, they will not stay put. Add in a doorway he can suddenly see and a new power he forgot he had, and well…things are getting interesting.

Tomas is a brand-new man. Literally. His new freedoms are just the beginning of his adventure into modern humanity. Not only can he leave the sanctuary, drive a truck, and spend time with the people in Granite Springs—he also learns how to cheat the rules.

Everything has changed for the better. But when Pie discovers the secrets of magic, Pell uncovers the real purpose of the rings, and Tomas falls in love with a Townie…things change again.

Only this time, they’re the ones with all the power.

Savage Saints is a fun, romantic romp through an ancient curse. It is book two in the Monsters of Saint Mark’s series and must be enjoyed in order. Written by New York Times bestselling author, JA Huss, under her pen name, KC Cross.

Amazing series!

JA Huss is one hell of a PNR writer. I fell in love with Pie and Pell in the first book but there were still so many question left unanswered. This book picks up right where book one ends and gives the reader a lot more of the sanctuary and the monsters that inhabit it. We get to learn more about Tomas and watch him interact in the human world (and it’s adorable). I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

OMG Even better than the first

I love, and I mean love the first book in this series. It ticked all the boxes for me in this genre of book AND had compelling characters! I eagerly awaited this sequel to the awesomeness and checked at every new credit just in case it released early. I was not dissatisfied. The world of St Mark's expands in ways that that make it feel like a sanctuary for the reader as well as the monsters. I love, love this book. Looking forward to the next one so I can Love, Love, Love it. (Note to self: I need a better rating system than the number of loves I use, I sound like a small child) If you like a mix of supernatural, love, romance, mystery, suspense, and redemption arches, buy this audio book

Another work of perfection!

This story just couldn't be better but I know it WILL get better with the next book in the series. JA Huss never disappoints.

Add me to her fandom

I’ve read a few Huss books and am always amazed at the imagination and creativity in them,
but after reading the first two books in the monsters of st. marks series I consider myself a true fan girl of JA Huss. Is there nothing she can’t write?!

Loved the characters, their relationships, the plot, the details, and the worlds created in the pages. I highly recommend the series.

A Fun Respite For Exhausted Souls

This series is so much fun. You definitely need to read them in order—but the continuation is just as good as the first volume. I think I chuckled throughout the entire book—excellent, absurd moments, great dialogue, and an entire Greek Chorus of monsters pantomiming emotion in the background.

The author talks about finding sanctuary in a crazy, unpredictable world at the end of the book, and I have to say that this little passion play was a sweet respite for my exhausted soul.

File Under: Hooray for Under-Monsters!

Jason Clarke brought this to life!

It was so good! The wording made everything come to life in my mind. The book is very detailed and the story is complex. You truly have to pay attention because you will miss key information. I love Jason Clarke's voice. it's deep and soothing while full of emotion. This is one of the best audio books that I've listened to and can't wait for book 3!
