Publisher's summary

After putting her would-be-murderer behind bars, Claire Hartley is determined to get back to planning elaborate marriage proposals and exploring her undefined relationship with grumpy filmmaker Luke. If she could just kick her new sleepwalking habit, everything would be perfect.

Unfortunately, perfect isn't in the cards for Claire when her archnemesis slaps her with a lawsuit, someone from her past comes knocking, and she becomes the target of mysterious threats that feel oddly familiar. Is the West Haven Widowmaker pulling strings from prison or is it a new sinister bad guy?

When a betrayal sends her into a tailspin, it's time for Claire and her rescue corgi, Rosie, to take investigative matters into their own hands—er, paws.

Can she figure out who is behind the escalating threats before it's too late?

Captivating blend of mystery and romance

In the thrilling sequel to Bride or Die, Madison Score masterfully immerses readers into a whirlwind of action, suspense, and unexpected twists from the very first page.

Claire Hartley, our resilient and resourceful protagonist, faces her nemesis head-on as a lawsuit threatens to unravel the carefully constructed life and business she's built. But that's not all—enter the sudden appearance of her long-lost biological father, and the layers of intrigue deepen, and readers are left guessing until the very end.

In the heart of the novel is the delicate balance Claire and Luke, the grumpy yet irresistible filmmaker, strive to maintain. Their chemistry crackles, and their banter is both witty and endearing. As they navigate personal and professional challenges, you'll find yourself rooting for this dynamic duo.

And fear not—the humor sprinkled throughout provides a refreshing counterpoint to the tension. Madison Score's characters come alive with authenticity, making you feel like you're right there with them. And yes, there's just the right amount of steam to keep things sizzling.

But it's not only Claire and Luke who shine. The endearing cast of secondary characters plays a pivotal role, adding depth and intrigue to the riveting tale. Each twist and turn keeps you on the edge of your seat, eager to uncover the truth.

Lila Winters’ narration is absolute perfection, it brings the story to life.

Say Yes to the Death is a delightful blend of mystery, romance, and suspense. Brace yourself for a wild ride—you won't be disappointed!

I didn’t want it to end!

I think I have another new favorite writer!!! I listened to both of these books in maximum three days! I would definitely be BFFs with Claire! Both books were so captivating, and I never could have guessed how it would all play out!

Perfect Narration

The narration really saves the book. I don’t understand Claire and Luke, the plot falls kinda flat. Maybe it’s just not for me. There are parts I like but Claire is so annoying and she holds Luke to impossible standards when she lies to everyone around her routinely after promising not to over and over. I get hung up on the double standard and it makes her very unlikeable to me.

Great story

This is the second book in the series about Claire Hartley. Someone is trying to kill her. She's trying to figure out who it is when her estranged father comes back into her life to get her to get information from the guy who almost succeeded in killing her. Her boyfriend, Luke, whisks her away to Paris to get her away from everything. Things go awry when she finds out that he's lied to her. Things keep happening to her. Will she figure it out before it's too late? There's a lot if humor in this story, too. Lila Winters is a good narrator for the story.
