Cash has been in love with his best friend’s wife for as long as he’s known her, and while he and Callie have always been friends he knows he’ll never act on his attraction. Callie just divorced her husband who cheated on her and is trying to find her place in the world and what she wants in life. At least she has Cash, her ex-husband’s business partner and best friend to help her navigate and encourage her.

This story was so good! I don’t know what I was expecting, but this surpassed what I thought it was going to be. I got a fully formed story with depth and characters they you couldn’t help but root for. And while there are some (really well done!) steamy scenes they only help to enhance the book and connect you more to the characters. The push and pull is done really well.

Summer Morton did a great job with the narration! I’ve listened to her before and I will listen to her again. She brought depth to the characters. There were parts where I was frustrated with the people in Callie’s life, parts that made me smile, parts that made me want for Callie and for Cash....all of which is due to her performance and bringing me into their story.

If you’re looking for a fun listen, something that may surprise you, or something to put you in a good mood this is a great book for that! I highly recommend it. It surprised me and I hope that it surprises you too!

I believe these characters were so immature that I wanted to throw up! The dialogue and actions made me cringed. After two hours in, I had enough! This story was all about cheating and it was okay for the ex and the dad but when it came to love, it was not okay. They even feel they had to hide. Really? These people need to grow up! Romance?! Run!!!!
