About this listen

Erin Hunter’s #1 bestselling Warriors series continues! Discover more thrilling adventures in this third book in the Starless Clan arc.

A crossroads for the Clans—and the warrior code!

The warrior code now allows a cat to formally change Clans, but ShadowClan’s newest arrival feels increasingly unwelcome—and though ShadowClan warrior Sunbeam thinks every cat deserves a chance, one of the loudest voices of opposition is her own mother. Meanwhile medicine cat apprentice Frostpaw scrambles to help RiverClan stay afloat under the watchful eye of a second Tigerstar, and the shadow of growing conflict looms over them all…

This seventh epic Warriors series is full of action, intrigue, and adventure—a perfect introduction for new audiences and for long-time fans eager to discover what unfolds after the events of The Broken Code.

Cats Cats And More Cats

I enjoyed the story line, it was very twisty and very turny. I disliked nothing!

Okay

I still like the warrior books but this one just gets on my nerves because tiger star is turning evil and even though he said he wouldn’t take over riverclan it’s obvious he’s lying. Still can’t wait for the next one

Amazing!

This animal fiction book has turned into a mystery book! I liked Sunbeam best. She seemed so kind and fair. Her mother is not so fair, though. Gave Nightheart impossible tasks. Give Sumbeam an 8.5/10. Frostpaw: 8/10 How did she get murdered? It's a real mystery. From Curlfeather's message, " Trust no cat,"
maybe it was the cat she trusted most that killed her. Mothwing ? Impossible.
Duskfur ? She won't kill her granddaughter! Splashtail? I think that's possible. Nightheart: 7.6/10 Well...he's... just... okay. Why even go to shadowclan when he's going to fail his task on purpose anyway? However, he does have a point about his kin being unfair to him. I hope he will be with Sunbeam
when she joins thunderclan. Will Squirrelflight be Squirrelstar? Pre-
ordered book 4. I'm just so curious that I'm dying. Mr. Andrews does have a real knack for storytelling. He's awesome at changing into different voices. I've got all the Warriors cat books at home. From book 1 to now. Hope the new one will come soon.
To Erin Hunter and all Warriors cat fans

Yours truly,

Eaglefeather

My opinion and mine alone (unless u agree :)) GO DOWN FOR ENGLISH

English:

So before I start about my thoughts of this book, I want everyone to know that this is my personal opinion and no one has to agree or disagree.

Oh! And before you start reading my review, SLIGHT SPOILERS WARNING!!! Read at your own risk…

My review about the book:

When it was first released, I got it, and was super excited. At first, it was very exciting, but as it got further into the book, I couldn’t stop listening to it. I finished it the day it came out. When the apprentice, FrostPaw finally told her “friend” SplashTail, he “helped” her. When FrostPaw went to Windclan to talk to the medicine apprentice, she was attacked by a cat, and possibly murdered. I feel SplashTail killed her.. but I second guess myself since he is her friend, and he wants her to be a medicine cat to help Riverclan, so, unless some cat was spying, or somehow knew what she was planning that night, I will think it’s SplashTail who has been doing all the murders. I am so excited for the next book.

Sincerely, CheckeredTail (Windclans med.)

(Before reading this, note that their are BIG spoilers in this!!!!!)

So, to start off I feel like this book is almost to much going on- For example, all the cats have like three thousand things they are doing at once. Overall I did not really like the book- and why did frost-paw have to die? I mean really?

Your still here? Good. Because I do not mean a word I just said, and did that for no reason whatsoever.
I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!!!!! Not the best book on the series, but closely follows "Into the wild"!!!! I am not bothered by frost-paws death, because its "Starclan's Will" and thats mean more drama later on! I love the last chapter and the cliff hanger it ends on! If you see this, thank you for actually scrolling to read. "Don't judge a BOOK by its cover" lol!

Honest opinion from someone who’s read them all

The level of detail is the same as that of all the other novels. I get deeply emerged in the story, and feel like I’m given great sensory information to imagine what is going on. However, story wise this book just isn’t as great as some of the others. There’s a lot of wishy-washiness in the characters, some characters personalities are being entirely altered, and the changing clans businesses is an interesting choice for the warrior code, and not one that I like very much. The code is in place for a reason, and this just shows why. The forbidden love stories that it created were honestly better than the ooey gooey love stories we’re getting right now. However I will say the ending of this one era redeems it’s “lack of drama” most of the reviews are complaining about. It still left me wanting to read more, so I stand by the rating I gave it. Would like to see more action, and maybe more gore description when it comes to the battle scenes. Other than that, it was a good listen.
