Firestar's Quest

this is the 2nd super novel and it was just as awesome as the first. I have enjoyed the stories written from the animal's perspective and feel these writers have captured the feline personality "purr"fectly.

Great Adventure

Firestars Quest is the continuation of the story immediately after Bloodclan, in which Firestar must search for the lost fifth clan and rebuild it from the ground up.

The world building is still extraordinary, vivid environments with details that make you feel like you’re in them yourself. Fight sequences grip you and you will feel yourself holding your breath over the gut wrenching moments. This books overall charm came in the form of exploring Sandstorms and Firestar’s relationship, testing their faith, loyalty, and trust in each other. There was heavy emphasis on the right thing to do, and we get to see a different side of Firestar removed from the forest.

The book lacked in pacing; the first 10 chapters felt like they dragged on and the story didn’t pick up until they had finally reached their destination. There were continuity errors in the story telling, lack of exploring character motivations, and the driving force behind Firestar’s quest did not feel as if it was worth it.

My overall review is that this book was an exceptional story of the relationship building of Firestar and sandstorm, and a true test of Firestar’s heart of a warrior. I do feel as though you could easily skip reading this book and move onto the next big chapter in the series, but for the background information it helps to understand what happened to Firestar when he traveled with Sandstorm.

Five stars. The Hunters did a good job.

Loved it! I liked Firestar voice better in this book than in the prophesy’s begin. Skywatcher reminds a lot of Yellowfang. I think this is one of the better warriors books.

10/10 great book

The narrator dose an amazing job on many voices so you can tell who is talking. The story is amazing, the loss of the first skyclan and the rebuilding of the lost clan, then the rats attack. I like how leafdapple is unsure if she can lead skyclan

SO GOOD 10/10

Wow this book was so good! Definitely my favorite so far! I love all of my he new characters like cherry paw and sparrow paw. The journey showed firestar and sandstorms love very well and I’m excited for skywatchers prophecy to come! The voice acting was pretty good. Better then the last books. Some of the voices sounded like other cats like sharp claw sounded like tigerstar. I love to see so many of my favorite cats go through life and i would give the story 6 stars if i could!

SkyClan is PERSISTENT!!!

I love how SkyClan showed loyalty to the Warrior Code, and protected the kits, and Petal. The story was great, and I would listen to it a million times over. 😊 (like I have with all the other books) I would like to see McCloud Andrews try a smidge harder with the female voices. Great job guys!! 👏👏👏👏
