About this listen

When had life stopped being so simple? Probably around the time that Casey Frost first agreed to pay off her drug-addict brother's debt to save him from a brutal beating. It soon became a "thing". When the dealer - who's also an Alpha shifter - demands she do something that goes against her very being, Casey decides enough is enough. It's while she's confronting the Alpha that he appears - Eli Axton, a ruthless wolf shifter with a dark reputation. When their eyes lock and the mating urge violently kicks in, she knows her world is about to change.

The last unmated male in his pack, Eli feels weary and alone. Seeing his friends so happy makes the head enforcer acutely feel the absence of his true mate. He wouldn't have expected to find her in the parking lot of a shifter fight club or for her to be such an unusual breed of shifter. Certain the female enforcer belongs to him, he doesn't hesitate to claim her. Not everyone is happy to see Casey mated, though. Soon, danger is coming at them from different angles, threatening the life they're trying to build. Their enemy needs to be eradicated fast. But how did you destroy an enemy when you weren't sure who they were?

Contains mature themes.

OK story but too much sex.

I think the story was a bit thin and she filled the gaps with a whole lot of repetitive sex. The ending, that seems like a wrap up of the series, was so fast that I couldn’t tell who had which child. Narrator was great as usual.

Love the characters

The characters were all well thought out & fit the story. But, I found the story to be a bit boring. For me, the storyline was weak and not to my liking. Sorry.

I was pleased that the Pack's story was "completed" and made good use of all of our favorite characters using the author's typical humor & passion. Ms. Wright is one of my favorite authors. Thanks!

Best one of the series!

Suzanne Wright is an instant click for me. Her Phoenix/Mercury Pack books are wonderful. Even so, Eli's story exceeded my expectations by miles! That's really saying something! I love how you get to catch up with both packs. I REALLY hope she does Cain Holt next.

BEST BOOK EVER!!

I have read (listened to) all of Ms Wright’s shifter series twice now. Eli and Casey’s story is by far my favorite!! From the very beginning when they first meet to the end with the Christmas scene, I was captivated. I wish their story was twice as long. The narration was perfect!! The story awesome!! I can’t wait to read Cain and Cassidy’s story. It will be a zinger!! Thank you for this story!! It was the best lead into the new generation of these packs. Plus to branch off to other packs (prides, etc). I do hope there are plans to continue with new characters! I do love these series. The snarky people and animals is a hoot!! Please keep them coming!!

absolutely perfect ending

great ending to an awesome series. not as action packed as the others, but still good. and the 8 yr glimpse into the future in the epiligue was awesome. knowing how many kids they all had, what genders, their personalities and how similar or different they were to their parents, was just AWESOME. had hoped Cane and Cassidy would have their own book but guess not since they were included in this ending too. their story could have been epic though!

A Great Conclusion to the Mercury Pack

⭐⭐⭐⭐
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I can't believe it took me so long to finally read the last book in the Mercury Pack. It has been a long time since I read book 4, but Suzanne Wright has created such a great shifter world that the history of the previous books all came back to me. It was great to finally get to Nick's brother, Eli's book. I also loved that his true mate was a Mink, which we haven't seen before.

Casey was such a badass heroine. She is a lethal fighter and is forced to fight to pay off her brother's debt with a shady/drug dealing alpha. She refuses to throw the fight and gets into it with the alpha after the fight. Eli steps in to help her and they immediately realize they are mates.

This is low angst in the romance because they both accept the mating bond right away. They had amazing communication, and their sexual chemistry was hot!

I really enjoyed this series!

I love this!

I loved another one of the Mercury Packs stories. I just wish it was available in audio like the rest of them are. I used my accessibility voice reading option but it was no way as good as a narrator. I love this series

🌻This couple had it a bit too easy 🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I enjoyed this book just as I have enjoyed all the books in the two Packs series. This book did have less emotional intensity, then most of the others. This couple had more of an insta-love relationship, instead of having to fight for their relationship by surviving trials and tribulations. This isn’t always a bad thing. Honestly, this wasn’t one of my favorites, in the series, however, it was still worth the credit and the listen.

story is good but performance is fabulous

Redfield is an amazing artist and reminds me what a 5 star review requires. she can do all the voices, male or female, with conviction and feeling. I was amazed that this wasn't a duet!
the story is great too, cohesive and engaging. this story doesn't have as much of the female resistance that others in the series has; it's a sweet love at first sight recognized by both.
the ending tries to wrap up the series years later, with room for additional tales.
