Not the best Holmes

The plot was below the best Holmes with only rather simple ruses. Performance was top notch

Great reading voice

I’ve watched the series that had him in it. This brought back good memories of that.

Great Holmes Short

When Sherlock Holmes is approached by someone in disguise to retrieve an incriminating photograph from a beautiful woman, he enlists Dr. Watson to help him. He expertly locates the photograph, but the story doesn't stop there. The tale, though short, is filled with intrigue and mystery, and although Holmes' client is of the highest social standing, he isn't the most likeable of individuals. And that's where I found myself cheering for the witty and unflappable Holmes . . . sometimes you CAN have your cake and eat it, too!

nice

I always like these short stories from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The voice was easy to listen to as well.

Not much of a puzzle.

Another story from the Puzzle Club. The puzzle in this one is easier to solve for all of us. And since there is three solutions (or probably more) it's not particularly challenging. Ellery Queen may be clever, but not much more than the rest of us.
