About this listen

In real life, 221B Baker Street is the home of a bank. When fans send letters to Sherlock Holmes, bank employee Addy Zhuang, known as "Sherlock's Secretary," replies. One day, the bank is robbed, but the thieves only take three letters addressed to Sherlock Holmes.

The police conclude it was all a harmless prank, but Addy suspects something more malicious is happening. With the help of a true crime reporter, Addy and his friends launch their own investigation, which leads to murder and a decades-old cover-up connected to the BBC's "Great Erasure." Can Addy uncover the truth before more people die?

Loved this book

I absolutely loved listening to this book. It was well written and I loved the story being wrapped around Sherlock Holmes and a writer working at the bank answering Sherlock's letters. A very clever mystery! The narrator did an amazing job bringing the characters to life!

No Sherlock, but still Interesting

Modern story about a guy who answers mail sent to 221B Baker Street who gets involved in a mystery because of a robbery of some letters he received. Good Sherlock connections, interesting characters and clever story. Performance by Kevin Green is very good.

Very engaging mystery

I thoroughly enjoyed Sherlock’s Secretary by Chris Chan. The premise that there is someone who works to handle correspondence to Sherlock Holmes seems like a unique twist and update to the classic stories. The characters were interesting and believable and the plot was excellent. I loved how we learned the resolution to all three letters. The narration by Kevin E. Green was outstanding. His performance always enhances the story. It’s always amazing to me that such a range of characters and voices come from Mr. Green’s wonderful performance. I received a free audiobook code for my honest review.

Really enjoyed this one!

I originally read this book that I purchased during a campaign on Kickstarter. Enjoyed it very much. I almost didn't go with the Audible version, but I'm so glad I did! A fun story with an interesting plot by Chris Chan. The narrator, Kevin E. Green, was wonderful. He was easy to understand and handled all the various voices smoothly. Looking forward to hearing Chris' next book!

The story really draws you in

I started to listen to this audiobook with no expectations, but was soon drawn into the storyline. I found the writing and narration to be very good and really enjoyed it, so much so that I started the authors second book as soon as I had finished this.
