Deadline - the real book was my favorite and I have listened to it twice. It’s Sandfords best work. Therefore the sidekick title lured me in, but was disappointing. No compare and contrast, no exploration of the geography, no examination of the characters, nothing but a boring recount of some story events.

Basically a poor summary of Deadline. no substance at all. I figured it would at least offer interesting insights into Deadline. Nope. Nothing. Save your $3.00.

This was more like a book report in high school ...a long book report. There was nothing new added in sidekick. If you were paying attention when you read deadline you already knew every single thing in this “book report“. The only thing I did like was the suggestion for a sequel to deadline. That was about five seconds.

I hope I didn’t pay for this book
