Pleasantly Surprised

Just finished the audiobook. This is the 1st book that I’ve read/listened to by this author and it was delightful. The narrators were perfectly chosen.

A great audiobook!

Another wonderful story from L.H. Cosway! I absolutely loved this charming and fun romance.

Afric and Neil start out with an agreement to help each other. She needs help with her finances and he needs help with the girl he wants to win over. What should be simple becomes a lot more when feelings get involved. I loved the relationship development, banter, and plot pacing. This is one of my favorite books from L.H. Cosway yet!

This is a spin-off of the Running on Air series but can be read as a standalone. I love that series, too, though, and can't recommend it enough!

A great story and wonderful narration make this one of my favorite audiobooks this year.

Get ready to fall in love with quirky Afric & Neil

5-Star. Cosway does it again with original story lines and characters you fall in love with! Afric and Neil’s love story was quirky and romantic! I love getting lost in a good book! Loved it! When I enjoy a book as much as I enjoyed Sidequest for Love, I love to indulge in the Audio version, too. Audio for this book is amazing! Afric and Neil come alive with the narration and it's so fun to join them on their quirky journey to find love! I can almost picture Afric and Neil and I found myself thinking about what listened to long after it was over. They had faults, but they were strong characters who seemed so real and kind.

Perfect

I read Sidequest for Love first and I loved it. The audible just made me love it more. The narrators for Alfric and Neil were and are perfect.

Fabulous Narration with a Sweet Love Story

LH Cosway always writes the most interesting characters. This is a spin off story from her Running on Air series (fabulous) about a Parkour team This is a story about two people who dislike each other at first, complete opposites that slowly develop feelings for each other.
I've already read this book but always but the audio too. I loved the narrator's, a duel cast was perfect for this. Check it out you'll be so happy you did.

So Perfectly Written!

Afric and Neil are like oil and water but as they got to know each other they realize they click. I so enjoyed their quirkiness and how they complimented each other. What a fun read!!

Quirky romance + fab narrators = an awesome audio

When it comes to originality and creativity, L.H. Cosway is one of those authors who has yet to let me down. (Knock on wood!) While I've had the pleasure to read some of her books, I hadn't listened to any of her audiobooks. Until now. I enjoyed the heck out of Sidequest for Love, but listening to it with Will M. Watt and K.C. Sheridan narrating was a whole new experience that I couldn't get enough of. Afric and Neil were this unlikely couple who went from not having the best first impression of each other to actually becoming good friends and then much more. Listening to their story provided hours of entertainment and endeared these two to me all over again. Watt and Sheridan were the perfect pair to bring Cosway's wonderful romance to life. Five stars!

All the Feels

Sidequest for Love by L.H. Cosway is a stand-alone romance novel that gave me all the feels, had me on the edge of my seat,made me read it in one sitting. Beautifully narrated by Will M. Watt and K.C. Sheridan it's the perfect time to spend a few hours with.
Afric, the outgoing onliune gamer, loves a challenge.
Neil, the numbers guy needs help with relationships. So why not help each other out?
A witty and fun read/listen, 5 stars.

What a fun, quirky story with amazing narration!

Audiobook: Narrators - Will M. Watt & K. C. Sheridan

Wow! This duo totally won me over with their performances. As a Texas country girl, it can be tricky to understand certain accents. Mr. Watt’s voice had a richer accent, but a little tweak to the speed helped me to catch on quickly and this country girl was soon following along at normal speed without any issues. Both of these narrators did an amazing job of bringing these characters to life and adding so much more to a book that I was already in love with. Listening to this after reading it was icing on a fun filled decadent cake!

What a cute, fun story! This couple were complete opposites but so perfect for each other!
Afric was popular with her fan base and yet she never quite fit in. She dressed and behaved in a manner that was off putting to some people yet she had a wicked sense of humor and excelled in originality. I loved the way she took Neil by surprise before he ever saw it coming.

Neil was never the girl’s first pick. Watching him interact with Afric was fun as he never saw what he was getting himself into. Of course, that made it all the more entertaining.

This has some wonderful banter, a slow burn, and great interactions between the hero and heroine. This was low angst and what did arise was quickly dealt with. Overall, a fun, quirky read that kept me smiling!

LOVED IT

I've loved every aspect of this entire world. From Hearts on Air to Off the Air, it's all been absolutely wonderful. I was excited to see that LH Cosway was turning her newsletter serial into an actual book, especially because it was about our favorite no nonsense Neil!

Neil and Afric are opposites to the extreme. He's neat and tidy while she's messy and wild, which for me is a recipe for success in any book! I really liked how their relationship was slow going because I am a SUCKER for slow burns. I love the build up and tension and the all around progression of the character's relationship. I feel like stories, including this one, are so much better developed and much more rewarded when the characters finally come together.

This story was very well paced and very exciting to read. I loved the banter between the two and them watching tv shows together was just the best and sweetest thing, ever. Ugh. I just love the two of them. They are both so accepting of each other and their quirks. I just loved it.

Then just throw in all of the Annabelle drama and it made for a very, very exciting read. I loved the support Afric gave Neil through the whole ordeal and how she never once judged him for it. She is one of the most supporting and loving people I've read about in a long time.

The narrators are perfect. I've always loved Will M. Watt. He's got such a great voice and I loved the way he read Afric, too. It was like he was reading her lines while smiling and I just thought it was so cute. In the past, I haven't *loved* KC Sheridan because I found her voice to be a bit tonal, but I absolutely loved her in this one. She did such a great job with Afric and she was very dynamic when reading. The narration as a whole was on point!


Overall, I highly recommend this book. If you've loved all of the other characters from this world, you will definitely love this one. It's an amazing edition to an already dynamic set of characters.
