About this listen

The cocky footballer next door has some serious game…luckily, Daphney Clarke knows how to play.

Zander Williams is the hot new American determined to take European football by storm. His head is so big, it barely fits under his backwards hat. And when he’s recruited to one of the biggest up and coming clubs in London, he’s certain to make his name known.

Managing the building where they live is only one of Daphney’s many jobs. It’s why she has zero patience for the obnoxious American on the other side of the wall who makes the most ungodly noises and likes to answer his door in nothing but a pink tea towel.

Tensions build and after one steamy hallway kiss, neighbor wars quickly shifts into neighbors-with-benefits and that’s a battle they both intend to win.

But Daphney doesn’t know the real reason Zander is in London, and now she’s stuck in the middle of a game she didn’t even know she was playing.

Sweeper is a 120,000 word full length sports romance that is set in the Harris Brothers world, but can be listened to as a stand-alone.

FANTASTIC story!

Holy range of emotions!! Oh. My. The feels y'all! The feels! You will experience every single one of them. Every. Single. One. Sweeper was an emotionally charged story from the very beginning. The characters experienced loss, grief, love, anger, happiness but it didn't feel like a roller coaster, each paged flowed seamlessly to bring this story together for me with an ending that left me smiling. I did NOT expect to have tears in my eyes and/or cry as much as I did but man it was soooooo worth it! Stella Hunter, Faye Adele, Teddy Hamilton and Will Watt do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality. They do more than giving their characters their voices, they fall into the roles and become the character.

It's Amy so Amazing!

I absolutely adore all the stories by Amy Daws and her narrators are absolutely the best. This story is a sweet love story, but not so predictable that you can call all the twists and turns. This is a great listen and so wonderfully written. I love this world Amy has created.

The narration is on PITCH!

If you have never listened to a duet performance before you're missing out. It's by far my favorite kind of narration and I don't get it nearly as much as I would like. The narrators in this book are phenomenal! They took this book and made it into a movie in my ears. You all are perfection.

Fantastic ending to an incredible series!

I devoured this story, as I did the entire series. The voice actors had me on the edge of my seat. Teddy Hamilton nailed the spiraling emotion that Zander goes through as he navigates the secret and the grief that he has been holding so tightly to. I felt his despair. This story brings together all the characters that we have previously known and loved in the other 9 books and this felt like a fitting end. My only complaint is that the series is now complete!

Loved Zander and Daphne

A surprise Harris Brother!!! This book was entertaining, angsty, and funny. I loved every minute of it. I haven’t read the Harris Brothers series, so this was my first intro to that world. Amy Daws is a favorite to read, her story are always funny, have great characters, and have loads of witty and snarky banter that helped build the tension between the main characters. Zander and Daphne were an instant enemies to lovers kind of love. They both have personal issues they need to deal with, but decide the friends with benefits arrangement is best for them, until they start to catch feelings and they personal issues get in the way of their HEA.

The narration for Sweepr was incredible! It was duet style by Teddy Hamilton and Faye Adele with performances by Will Watt and Stella Hunter. They are did a fabulous job bring Zander and Daphne’s story to life. I really enjoyed they audiobook from start to finish and loved all the different voices from Teddy, Faye, Will and Stella. They are had great chemistry. I definitely have to go back to listen to the rest of the Harris Brothers books.

Sweeper was full of heart, hilarity, and steam

After author Amy Daws dropped a little bomb at the end of Replay, I have been dying for Zander's story and was delighted that it was as fantastic as I'd hoped it would be. In all seriousness, there's not a single Amy Daws book I've read that I didn't love. Sweeper was full of so much heart, hilarity, and steam. I enjoyed getting to see the Harris family again. This was a fantastic addition to the family and the series. The audiobook is performed in duet style and Teddy Hamilton and Faye Adele were perfection. Having Will Watt and Stella Hunter in the cast was fantastic as well.

Sweeper

This is the last book in the Harris Brothers and Spin off series. This book is about Xander and Daphne. Xander is the long lost half Harris Brother. He is American. Daphne is Theo and Hayden’s sister. They become neighbors when Xander transfers to Vann Harris’ football team. Teddy Hamilton, Faye Adele, Will Watt, and Stella Hunter all did a phenomenal job narrating this book in duet style narration.

Amazing Narration & Story

Zander…I don’t know how she managed it, but Amy Daws just scored ANOTHER goal with this story. The emotional journey Zander is on through this grabbed ahold of me and wouldn’t let go. He’s a wonderful addition to the Amy Daws reading list. I love how she wove Daphne’s backstory in and created this dynamic between her and Zander. I couldn’t put this down once I started and now I’m sad it’s over. The only saving grace is that I can reread and re-listen to it again and again. Thank you for an AMAZING story, Amy! This is my first experience with narration done this way and it blew me away. I felt like I was in the room with the characters, because I felt like I was part if every conversation they had. I don’t know how I’ll be able to manage any audio book not done as well as this one.

This narration is on point!!

When I started the audio of this book, I didn’t know what I had gotten myself in to. It’s 11.5 hours of Teddy Hamilton in your ears. That alone is enough to make you keep listening. New to me voice of Faye Adele just added to the amazing narration in this great story from Amy Daws. Will Watt and Stella Hunter add great bits here and there as well. In fact, Stella made me tear up a few times.

Zander is in the UK to play football. But his motivation for playing for this team may not be on the up and up. And he certainly doesn’t let Daphney in on the real reasons.

Daphney can barely tolerate Zander. He’s loud and obnoxious and can’t follow the rule of the building. And if the man would learn how to not snooze his alarm for an hour, it would be quite helpful.

When a confrontation in the hall leads to a hot kss (don’t kisses like that always turn hut?) they start to explore this chemistry they have together. First as neighbors, then as friends, then as more. But it all implodes when Daphney finds out why he is really in London. She’s hurt and humiliated.

What will it take for Zander to prove to Daphney he withheld information to keep from hurting her? That everything they share is much bigger than the reason he is there.
